Özet
Araştırmanın genel amacı web tabanlı uzaktan eğitimin ilköğretim 7. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersi ?Işık? ünitesi üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Sakarya ili Kaynarca ilçesi Kulaklı İlköğretim Okulu'nda deneysel bir araştırma yapılmıştır.Araştırmada ön-test son-test deney gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya deney grubunda 16, kontrol grubunda 16 olmak üzere toplam 32 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde kontrol grubu öğrencileri ?Işık? ünitesi öğretmen merkezli yöntemlerle, deney grubu öğrencileri ise öğrencinin aktif olacağı web tabanlı uzaktan eğitim yöntemiyle işlemişlerdir. Çalışma haftada 4 ders saati süresince 6 hafta boyunca toplam 24 saat sürdürülmüştür.Öğrencilere ?Akademik Başarı Testi?, ?Fen ve Teknoloji Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği? ve ?Bilgisayara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği? ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Ölçme araçlarının geçerlilik ve güvenirlik katsayılarının tespitine yönelik yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda, ?Akademik Başarı Testi? KR-20 güvenirlik katsayısı 0,79, ?Fen ve Teknoloji Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği? Cronbach Alfa katsayısı 0,90 ve ?Bilgisayara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği? Cronbach Alfa katsayısı 0,70 olarak hesaplanmıştır.Araştırma sonunda elde edilen verilen incelendiğinde deney grubunda yer alan ve web tabanlı uzaktan eğitim yöntemi ile dersleri işleyen öğrencilerin akademik başarı ve bilgisayara yönelik tutum son test ve ön test puanları arasında anlamlı farklılık olduğu, fen ve teknoloji dersine yönelik tutumlarında ise anlamlı bir değişiklik meydana gelmediği görülmüştür.

The general purpose of this research is to determine the effect of web-based distance education on the subject of“Light”in Science and Technology Lesson at primary 7th Grade. A research has been made in Kulaklı Primary School in Kaynarca, Sakarya.In the research half experimental pattern group with pre-test and post-test was used. 32 students joined the research, 16 students in experiment group,16 students in control group. During the research the students in experiment group were taught the subject“Light”via web-based distance education method and the students in control group learnt it by teacher - centered method. Research continued for total 24 hours, 4 hours per week for 6 weeks.“Academic success test”,“The scale of the attitude towards Science and Technology Lesson”and“The scale of the attitude towards computer”were applied to students as pretest and post-test. As a result of studies conducted to determine the validity and reliability coefficients of measuring instruments,“Academic success test”KR-20 reliability coefficient is 0,79,“The scale of the attitude towards Science and Technology Lesson”Cronbach's Alpha coefficient is 0,90,“The scale of the attitude towards computer”is 0,90.At the end of the research, the data obtained are analyzed students that situated in experiment group using web-based distance education method in lesson, academic success and attitude toward computer no significant difference between post-test and pre-test scores, significant change in attitudes towards science and technology lesson were observed.
