Özet
İş Eğitimi dersi, 2006-2007 yılından itibaren yerini Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersine bırakmıştır. Teknoloji eğitiminin amacı, kişilerin mevcut yaşamdan daha iyi bir yaşama geçebilmeleri için gerekli görüş, düşünce ve becerileri geliştirmektir. Bu durum yeni gelişmeleri öğrenip etkili bir biçimde uygulayabilen meslek mensupları yetiştirmeyi de zorunlu hale getirmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan Teknoloji ve Tasarım öğretmenlerinin ve eğitim gören öğrencilerin, 2006-2007 öğretim yılında uygulamaya konulan Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersi öğretim programına ilişkin karşılaşmış oldukları sorunları ele almaktır. Araştırma, Ankara ili Mamak ve Altındağ ilçelerindeki ortaokullarda Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersinde, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin karşılaştıkları sorunları ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yapılan anket sonuçlarının analizinin yapılmasının amaçlandığı nicel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı deneysel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Ankara ili Mamak ve Altındağ ilçelerinde görev yapan Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersi öğretmenleri, Ankara ili Mamak ve Altındağ ilçelerindeki 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, 127 Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersi öğretmenine ve 858 6, 7, ve 8. sınıf öğrencisine anket uygulanmıştır. Niceliksel verilerin karşılaştırılmasında iki grup arasındaki fark t-testi, ikiden fazla grup durumunda parametrelerin gruplararası karşılaştırmalarında Tek yönlü (One way) Anova testi ve farklılığa neden olan grubun tespitinde Scheffe testi kullanılmıştır. Teknoloji ve Tasarım Dersinde karşılaşılan sorunlarda öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşleri incelendiğinde öğretmenlerin farklı bölümlerden mezun olması ve öğretmenlerin programın vizyonunu yeterince anlayamamış olduğu ve bunun da uygulamada önemli farklıklara yol açtığı görülmektedir. Öncelikle Teknoloji ve Tasarım programının felsefesi, değiştirilme gerekçeleri ve daha verimli olarak uygulama konusunda yönetici, öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilere farklı eğitim olanakları sunulmalıdır. Okullarda, Teknoloji ve tasarım öğretim programını kendi koşullarına ve öğrenci ihtiyaçlarına göre uyarlamalarına imkan verecek düzenlemeler yapılmalıdır. Böylece öğrencilerin sınıf düzeyi yükseldikçe Teknoloji ve Tasarım dersine yönelik ilgilerinin azalmasını engellenebilecektir. Teknoloji ve Tasarım Dersinin etkili ve verimli bir şekilde uygulanabilmesi için atölyelerin fiziksel koşulları ve teknik donanımı öğretmenlerin görüşleri de dikkate alınarak düzenlenmelidir.

Job Training lesson has left its place Technology and Design lesson, since 2006-2007. The purpose of technology education is to develop the necessary insight, thoughts and skills to lead a better life than the present life. This condition makes it obligatory to educate colleagues who learn and apply the new developments effectively. The purpose of this research is to discuss the problems which Technology and Design teachers working in a primary schools and students facing with, concerning the curriculum of Technology and Design lesson which was put into practice in 2006-2007 school year. This research, in which quantitative research technique is used, is an experimental work in which it is aimed to make an analysis of survey results applied fort he purpose of revealing the problems of teachers and students during Technology and Design lesson in primary schools in Ankara province, Mamak and Altındağ counties. Technology and Design lesson teachers working in Ankara province, Mamak and Altındağ counties, 6, 7, and 8 th grade students in Ankara province, Mamak and Altındağ counties compose of the universe of the research.In this research, a questionary is applied on 127 Technology and Design lesson teachers and 858 6, 7 and 8th grade students Comparing quantitive datas between two groups“ t-test ”, in the case of more than two groups comparing parameters among groups“ one way Anova test ”and determining the group which couses difference“ Scheffe test ”are used. When teachers and students opinions are scanned about the problems which are faced during Technology and Design lesson it is seen that teachers are graduated from different courses and certain teachers don't understand the vision of the Technology and Design programme and it causes important differences on practice. First of all different education apportinities are offered to director, teacher, student and parents about the philosophy of the programme, the reasons of being changed and applying it more efficiently. Some regulations should be made in the schools to provide apportunity for adapting the programme according to their conditions and students needs. In this way student's interest in Technology and Design lesson can be prevented to decrease as the class level of the students increase. In order to apply Technology and Design lesson impressively and efficiently physical circumstances and technical equipment of the workshops should be rearranged considering teacher's opinions.
