Özet

Türk inşaat sektörü ve firmaları ulusal ve uluslararası alanda önemli taahhüt işlerine imza atmaktadır. Türk inşaat firmaları, sektördeki yetişmiş insan gücünü ve teknik birikimi kullanarak, girişimci yapıları ve risk alabilme kabiliyetleri ile dünyanın en büyük inşaat firmalarının yer aldığı rekabet ortamında önemli bir konum elde etmiştir. İnşaat firmaları arasındaki rekabetin artmasıyla, firmalar içinde etkin, güncel, verimli ve en iyi yönetim tekniklerini kullanma gereksinimleri artmıştır. Böylece, inşaat firmalarında çalışan proje ve yapım yöneticilerinin hem teknik hem de yönetim bilgileriyle donatılmış ve eğitilmiş olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu durum, inşaat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların yönetici konumunda görev alacak yeni mezunlarda yeterli proje ve yapım yönetimi bilgi ve becerilerinin aramasını gerektirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Türk inşaat sektöründe özellikle mimarların ve inşaat mühendislerinin etkin olduğu proje ve yapım yöneticilerinin öğretim gördükleri proje ve yapım yönetimi yüksek lisans programları hakkında bilgi edinilmesi, yüksek lisans programlarının karşılaştırılması, kümelendirilmesi, Türkiye ve KKTC'deki genel durumun değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. 2013 yılı sonuna kadar erişilebilen mevcut proje ve yapım yönetimi yüksek lisans programları incelenmiş, proje ve yapım yönetimi yüksek lisans programlarının mevcut güncel durumu sergilenmiştir. Tez kapsamında: 1. Bölüm'de: Tezin yöntemi, kapsamı ve amacı açıklanmıştır. 2. Bölüm'de: Türkiye ve KKTC'deki proje ve yapım yönetimi yüksek lisans programları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucu 16 adet yüksek lisans programı bulunmuş, öncelik olarak web sitelerindeki bilgiler kullanılmıştır. Yurtdışındaki ve Türkiye'deki Proje ve Yapım Yönetimi'nin tarihi incelenmiş, geçmişten günümüze nasıl geliştiği hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. 3. Bölüm'de: Türkiye ve KKTC'deki proje ve yapım yönetimi konu alanında faaliyet gösteren yüksek lisans programlarının içerikleri 18 adet ortak başlıklarıyla ele alınmıştır. Değerlendirme sonucunda ulaşılan nesnel ve ayrıntılı bilgiler tezin bir sonraki bölümündeki gruplandırma ve kümelendirme işlemleri için ön bilgi, veri kaynağı oluşturmuştur. Her başlık altında o başlığa ait bilgilere göre karşılaştırma yapılmış, çizelgeler oluşturulmuş, sonuçlar için anlatımı kolaylaştıran şekiller kullanılmıştır. 4. Bölüm'de: Yüksek lisans programları gruplandırma ve kümeleme çalışmasına tabi tutulmuştur. 348 başlık altında verilen dersler gruplandırılarak sırasıyla, 282 adet Ders Adı, 121 adet Ders Konusu, 33 adet Ders Bilgi Alanı ve 8 adet Ders Bilgi Grubu oluşturulmuştur. Kümeleme sonucu 5 adet yüksek lisans program kümesi ve 5 adet ders kümesi oluşturulmuştur. Bu kümeleme analizi işlemi Aggloremative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) metodu kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. AHC işlemi için MS Excel programı içinde kullanılabilen XLSTAT 2013 istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. 5. Bölüm'de: Türkiye ve KKTC'deki proje ve yapım yönetimi konu alanında faaliyet gösteren yüksek lisans programlarının mevcut durumu değerlendirilmiş ve öneriler sunulmuştur

Turkish construction sector and companies have become a brand in the international arena. Turkish construction firms has achieved a significant position using qualified manpower and technical background in the industry with the ability of entrepreneurial and taking risks to include the world's largest contracting firms in the competitive environment. With the increasing competition between construction firms need to use active, current, efficient and the best management techniques in the companies. Thus, the project and construction managers are required to be trained and equipped with in both technical and management information who are working in the construction company. This situation, companies of operating in the construction industry are caused to search enough project and construction management knowledge and skills that will replace staff in management positions from the new graduates. This study aim to evaluate overall situation about project and construction management master degree programs' education and training which especially architects and civil engineers are active as a project and construction managers in Turkish construction sector, compareted of the clustering, presented an ideal program suggestion and provided information about the graduate program in Turkey and the TRNC. For the content of Thesis, Project and construction management master degree programs have been studied which are the current projects until 2013, examined, presented the current status of them. In the next years, a substructure has been created for doing research on programs, updating, developing, assessing the situation of past and present. In the scope of the purposes of theses chapters are listed as follows: In 1st Chapter: Determining the chosen subject for the thesis, the method, literature research, scope and purpose are described. In 2nd Chapter: Has been created a background information about project and construction management master degree programs in Turkey and the TRNC. Researchs are found 16 pcs of master degree programs which priority information is used in the their websites. Project and Construction Management history is examined in Abroad and Turkey, detailed information is given about how it evolves from past to present. Master degree programs are listed with short names which are active only project and construction management subject in Turkey and the TRNC. In 3rd Chapter: Master degree programs' informations are dealt with 18 pcs of features which are active only project and construction management subject in Turkey and the TRNC. Master degree programs have been compared to 18 pcs of features, evaluated of the current situation, exhibited are aimed in this chapter. Objective and detailed informations which are achieved on evaluation results create a prior information and a data source for grouping and clustering process in the next section of the thesis. Under each headings, made a comparison information in that title; charts have been created, graphs are used for easier and simplifies the explanation for the results. In 4th Chapter: Aim to study of grouping and clustering aspects, present an ideal program suggestion and evaluate of current situation are conducted with general views which are obtained with a high degree of similarity data. 348 courses are groupped respectively which are given under the name of the same course title; 282 pcs Course Title, 121 pcs Course Topic, 33 pcs Course Knowledge Area and 8 pcs Course Information Group are formed. With clustering result sets of 5 pcs Course and 5 pcs Master Degree Program are created. Aggloremative Hierarchical Clustering, AHC is chosen method for clustering analysis process. AHC process is used XLSTAT 2013 statistical program that can be used in Microsoft Excel. In 5th Chapter: Based on academic and technical information; the current state of the master degree programs which are given under the name of the project and construction management, are evaluated in Turkey and the TRNC and recommendations are presented.
