SUMMARY EREN, Selim,“A Sociological approach to contemporary Religious Life in the Light of Questions and Answers”M. A. Thesis ( Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Münir KOŞTAŞ ) Religions have been shaping the communities all the time. Because, generally all the religions, especially Islam, aim to straighten and bring true way all the humans. They inform juridical and social sanction points to realize this targets. As the time goes on, this points mix together, after this position, the occasion can not be distinguished. Thus, religions and social subjects change their, quality with mutual affect and delete definite sundererlines between them. The practical side of religion complete part of wordly and sometime, these ideas maybe in human opinion. It is very clear that religious unders tanding how can be changed in city life. When cultural degree developes in person's life then some changes can be seen in his beliefs and prayings. The new technological and scientific development that entered in community's agenda, affect the religious life. First of all, changes make some questions in believer's brain. Is it lawful that to have a child with tube baby, methode? How can be prayed in plane? And like theese questions have entered subsequently in our minds. Because of belonging Chairmanship of Religious Affairs to government, there have been a big suspicion about this foundation. Besides, The Chairmanship of Religious Affairs have a position that it can decide to prevent an ideological argument between community about religion. Our connunity have asked questions about a lot of subject to the High Commitee of Religious Affairs. A big part of theese questions have been about praying subjects. It has been scanned the questions according to years, sexuality, cities, countries, regions, main subjects and subjects in this thesis. Samples are given from original questions at end of the thesis.
