ABSTRACT The chain-stores increasing fast in number today have been trying to survive under the strong competitive corditions varying environmental factors and their influence of continious by changing technological developments. This fast change and development have revealed the necessity of chain stores to make new arrangements in their present structures by time. This re-arrangement works, which is also called as reorganiza tion, could also be applied to chain-stores system of accoun ting information gathering. General information about the chain-stores was given in the first part of the study. In the second part, the accounting information gathe ring system of the chain-stones was analyzed by looking at it main oonstituerts. In the third part first some general explanation about re-organization were given and then some information about the reorganization of the acconting information gatheringsystem of the chain stores which forms the basis of our thesis, was given. In the fourth and the last part the results of the applications about the reorganization of the accounting information gathering system in the chain stores of Her-iş Seramik ve Turizm A.Ş. Gür al Porselen.
