Özet

Bu tezde, Nietzsche'nin“Ben”kavramına getirdiği eleştiri ile bu kavramın etik açıdan sonuçlarını göstermeyi deneyeceğiz. Nietzsche'nin“Ben”kavramına getirdiği eleştiri, Batı felsefesindeki usçuluk geleneği ve Metafizik ile Etik bağlamlarında ele alınacaktır. Nietzsche'ye göre Batı felsefesindeki usçuluk geleneği ve Metafizik disiplini Kartezyen“ego”nun önemli bir rol oynadığı modern felsefedeki“Ben”kavramına kuramsal bir zemin oluşturmuştur. Nietzsche'nin sisteminde,“Ben”kavramının modern felsefedeki kuruluşu Etik çerçevesinin dışında ele alınamaz. Bu görüşten yola çıkarak, Nietzsche“Ben”in Etik çerçevesinde kurulmasını bir problem olarak ele almıştır. Bu tezin üzerinde durduğu temel noktalar şunlardır: Nietzsche'nin Kartezyen“Ego”ya getirdiği eleştiriyi Batı felsefesindeki usçuluk geleneği ile Metafizik disiplininin içinde konumlandırmak Nietzsche'nin“Etik eyleminden sorumlu kişi”tanımını Etik çerçevesinde sunmak. Bu bağlamda Nietzsche“Etik eyleminden sorumlu kişi”nin kuruluşunu Hıristiyan ahlakı ile“köle ahlakı”açısından eleştiriyor. Bu eleştiride Nietzsche genealogie 'yi yöntemsel bir araç olarak kullanmaktadır. Bu yöntem ile amaçlanan,“Ben”in kuruluşunu tarih, Etik ve felsefe açısından çözümlemektir.

This thesis attempts to expose Nietzsche's critique of the concept of the self and its moral implications. In this exposition Nietzsche's critique of the concept of the selfwill be presented in the context of western rationality and metaphysics, and in the context of morality. Nietzsche's account implies that western rationality and metaphysics serve as a theoretical basis for the constitution of modem concept of the self in which the Cartesian self plays a crucial role. Nietzsche claims that the constitution of the modem concept of the self is inseparable from the context of morality and through this claim he problematizes the process of the“moralization of the self'. This thesis has two fundamental aims: To situate Nietzsche's critique ofthe Cartesian conception of the self within Nietzsche's critical account of western rationality and metaphysics. To expose Nietzsche's evaluation of the formulation of the ”agent self' in the context of morality. In this context, Nietzsche criticizes the following aspects of the constitution of“agent self': the ”Christian morality“, and what he calls ”slave morality". In his evaluation Nietzsche's methodological tool is genealogy. His practice of genealogy attempts to uncover the historical, moral and philosophical aspects of the constitution of the self.
