Özet

İnsanoğlu tarih boyunca hakîkatin bilgisine ulaşmak için çabalamış, bu bilgiye batı dünyasında felsefe, İslâm dünyâsında ise hikmet denilmiştir. İlâhî bir lütuf olarak bazı kimselere bahşedildiği Kur'ân'da ve hadislerde bildirilen“hikmet”in ne anlama geldiği hususunda, İslâm ilim tarihi boyunca çeşitli araştırmalar yapılmış, Kur'an ve hadis başta olmak üzere, kelâm, fıkıh, tasavvuf ve İslâm felsefesi alanlarında, hikmet terimini anlamlandırma çabaları günümüze değin sürmüştür. Bu süreçte, hikmeti anlamlandırma ve onu arayanlara yol gösterme gayesiyle yapılan tanım ve yorumların, İslâm'da temel iki kıstas olan Kur'ân'a ve Hz. Peygamberimiz'in hadislerine uygunluk derecesi hep merak konusu olmuştur. Bizler de çalışmamızda“İslâm düşüncesinde hikmet anlayışı”nı araştırırken, Kur'an, hadis, kelâm, fıkıh, tasavvuf ve İslâm felsefesi alanlarında bu güne kadar farklı çalışmalarda ele alınan hikmeti, tek çalışma kapsamında bir araya getirerek değerlendirmeye, sonrasında ise elde ettiğimiz anlam ve yorumların Kur'ân'a ve sünnete uygunluğunu belirlemeye çalıştık. Bu çalışmamızın neticesinde şu tesbitlerde bulunduğumuzu ifade edebiliriz: İslâm düşüncesinde hikmet kavramı Allâh'a, peygamberlere ve diğer insanlara nisbetine göre farklı anlamlara gelmektedir. İslâmî ilimlerin her biri hikmete özellikle kendi penceresinden bakmış ve hikmeti kendi anlayışlarına göre yorumlamışlardır. Ancak önemle vurgulamak gerekir ki bu ilimler hikmet hakkındaki arayışlarını, âyet ve hadislerin ışığı altında yapmışlardır. Bundan dolayıdır ki, hikmete bakışlarını Kur'ân ve Sünnete arz ettiğimizde görüyoruz ki İslâmî ilimlerdeki hikmet anlayışı, Kur'ân'da ve hadislerdeki hikmet anlayışıyla neredeyse birebir örtüşmektedir.

Mankind has struggled throughout the history to reach the knowledge of the truth, and this information is called philosophy in the Western world, and wisdom in Islamic world. A great number of research has been made throughout the history of Islamic science in search of the meaning of wisdom which was reported in the Qur'an and Hadiths to be granted to some people as a divine grace, and the attempts to explain the term wisdom has lasted up to the present mainly in Quran and Hadith and also in the areas of theology, Fiqh, Sufism and the Islamic Phiolosophy. In this process, the relevance of the definitions and interpretations made about the wisdom for the ones who seek for it with the two main yardsticks in Islam, that are Quran and Hadiths of our Prophet has always been a subject of wonder. In this research while studying“the understanding of wisdom in Islamic thought”we tried to interpret the term wisdom which was discussed in several studies up to present in the areas of Quran, Hadith, Theology, Fiqh, Sufism and Islamic Philosophy and determine the relevance of the meanings and interpretations we present with the Quran and Hadith. As a result of this study, we can state that we ended up with these findings: The term of wisdom in Islamic thought has different meanings according to Allah, to the prophets and to other people. Each of the Islamic sciences regarded wisdom from their own perspectives and interpreted it with regard to to their views. However, we must emphasize that these sciences made their interpretations about wisdom in the light of Hadiths and verses from the Quran. Therefore, when we interpret their thoughts about wisdom in the light of Quran and Sunnah, we see that the understanding of wisdom in the Islamic sciences almost exactly corresponds to the understanding of wisdom in Quran and Hadiths.
