Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı bilgisayar destekli hücre biyolojisi dersinin öğrencilerin akademik başarısına etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, 2012?2013 öğretim yılı Adana Melikşah Anadolu Lisesi 9.sınıf öğrencilerinden 30?u deney, 30 ?u kontrol grubundan olmak üzere toplam 60 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma; deneysel bir araştırma olup araştırmada ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. 8 hafta süren araştırmada dersler deney grubunda bilgisayar destekli öğrenme yöntemi ile, kontrol grubunda ise düz anlatım ile soru-cevap yöntemi ile araştırmacı tarafından işlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 30 soruluk Hücre Biyolojisi Akademik Başarı Testi [HBABT] kullanılmıştır. Test öğrencilere uygulama öncesinde ön test ve uygulama sonunda son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar t-testi ile bağımlı gruplar t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı olarak işlenen bilgisayar destekli öğrenme yönteminin hücre biyolojisi konusunda öğrencilerin akademik başarısına olumlu yönde etki sağladığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca araştırmada akademik başarı alanında yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı olarak işlenen bilgisayar destekli öğrenme yönteminin düz anlatım ile soru-cevap yöntemine göre daha etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The motive of this study is to explore the effect of computer-assisted cell biology lesson based on constructive approach on the academic success of students. 2012-2013 Academic Year, Adana Melikşah Anatolian High School 9th grade students, a total of 60, with 30 in experimental group and 30 controlling group constitute the sampling of the study. Being an experimental study, experimental pattern with pre-test and post test controlling group was employed. The lessons were carried out with computer-assisted teaching method while in control group, lecturing and question-answer method was adopted during 8-week data collection period. A 30-question Cell Biology Academic Achievement Test (CBAAT) which was developed by the researcher, was used as the data collection tool. Through the test, pre-test was utilized prior to and post-test after the application. Independent groups t-test and dependent groups t test were used in the analysis of the collected data. It has been found that computer assisted cell biology lessons based on constructivist approach contributed positively to the success of the students at the end of the study. Additionally computer assisted teaching method based on constructivist approach has been determined to be more effective than lecturing and question-answer methods in terms of academic achievement.
