Özet
Bu çalışma, İstanbul ili Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesinde bulunan ilkokullardaki Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin görev yapılan okul türü (resmi okul-özel okul), cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, bitirilen okul türü, okutulan sınıf düzeyi ve hizmet içi eğitim alıp almama değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma giriş, konuyla ilgili kuramsal literatür ve ilgili araştırmalar, yöntem, bulgular ve yorumlar, sonuç ve öneriler bölümlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma karma desende yapılmış bir çalışmadır. Çalışma evrenini İstanbul ili Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesindeki ilkokullarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma örneklemi ise, Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesinde bulunan beş özel ilkokulun beşi ile otuz dört resmi ilkokulundan on dördü seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş ve bu okullarda görev yapan toplam 243 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Dal, (2004) tarafından hazırlanan 56 sorudan oluşan bir anket formu Serbest Etkinlik dersine göre uzman görüşü alınarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilip kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin görüş, öneri ve eleştirilerini açıklayabilmeleri için açık uçlu bir soru sorulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler SPSS istatistik paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar için t testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi, Post Hoc Tukey ve Kruskal Wallis H testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar aşağıda verilmiştir: 1. Öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşlerinin görev yaptıkları okul türüne göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği, resmi okuldaki öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin özel okullardaki öğretmenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. 2. Öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşleri cinsiyet değişkenine göre niteliksel öğeler alt boyutunda erkek öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin kadın öğretmenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu, diğer alt boyutlarda anlamlı farklılaşma olmadığı görülmüştür. 3. Öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşleri mesleki kıdemlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur. 4. Birinci sınıfları okutan öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına ilişkin görüşlerinin ikinci sınıf, üçüncü sınıf ve dördüncü sınıfları okutan öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre etkinliklerin gerçekleşme düzeyi alt boyutunda anlamlı düzeyde daha düşük olduğu bulunurken diğer alt boyutlarda anlamlı farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur. 5. Öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşleri hizmet içi eğitim alma değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur. 6. Öğretmenlerin Serbest Etkinlik dersinin uygulanmasına yönelik görüşleri en son bitirdikleri okul değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği bulunmuştur. 7. Öğretmenler; Serbest Etkinlik dersinin öğrenci, okul, çevre koşulları nedeniyle amacına uygun işlenmediği, bu derste daha çok diğer derslerdeki eksikleri gidermeye çalıştıkları, bu derse ait öğretmen kılavuz kitabının olmadığı, Serbest Etkinlik dersine yönelik plan, program, kaynak kitap geliştirilmeli, özel olarak oluşturulmuş yeterli araç gereçle donatılmış fiziki mekanlar gerekli, biçiminde görüş ve önerilerde bulunmuşlardır. Araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkan bulgulara dayalı olarak önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This research is carried out to determine whether the teachers' views on the implementation of Free Activities Course in primary schools in Gaziosmanpaşa district in İstanbul province, differs according to the type of school (public school and private school), gender, seniority, graduated school type, taught grade level and receiving or not receiving in-service education. The study is made up of entry, the theoretical literature and related research on the subject, methods, results, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations sections. The research is a study carried out in composite desingn. The research area is the primary schools in Gaziosmanpaşa district in İstanbul province. For the study sample, five private primary schools and fourteen of the thirty-four states primary schools in Gaziosmanpaşa district are selected by random sampling method and 243 teachers working in these schools formed the study sample. As the data collection tool, a questionnaire form consisting of 56 questions prepared by Dal, (2004), was developed and used by the researcher according to Free Activities lesson. An open-ended question was asked to the teachers in order to explain their opinions, suggestions and criticisms. The obtained data was presented by being analyzed with SPSS statistical package program. In analysis of data for independent groups; T test , one way analysis of variance, Post Hoc Tukey and Kruskal Wallis H tests were used. The results obtained in this study are as follows: 1. It is found that the views of teachers for the implementation of the Free Activities lesson vary significantly according to the type of school they work and according to the opinions of teachers in private schools at public school teachers were found to be significantly higher. 2. Teachers' opinions towards the implementation of Free Activities Class are as follows in terms of qualitative elements sub dimension and gender variant: The views of female teachers were found to be significantly higher than male teachers. It was seen that there is no meaningful differentiation on the other sub dimensions. 3. The opinion of the teachers for the implementation of the free event classes were found not to differ significantly according to their seniority. 4. In terms of the achievement levels of activities sub dimension, the views of the teachers who teach first grade classes are found to be significantly lower than the views of the teachers who teach second grade classes, third grade classes and fourth grade classes. It was seen that there is no meaningful differentiation on the other sub dimensions. 5. The views of teachers towards the implementation of Free Activities course were found not to differ significantly according to the in-service instruction variant. 6. Their latest finish school variant has been shown not to have a significant effect on the opinion of teachers for the implementation of the Free Activities lesson. 7. Teachers made some proposals and told their opinions: Free Activities lesson is not processed for the purposes due to students, school, environmental conditions, in this course they try to correct deficiencies of the other classes, there is not a teacher's guide book of this course, the plan for the Free Activities class, programs, textbooks should be developed, specifically equipped physical spaces are necessary. Based on the findings that resulted from the research some suggestions were given.
