Özet
Bilgi, dün olduğu gibi bugün de önem arz etmektedir. Bilginin kazanılarak kullanılmasında ve bilgi gücünün üretilmesinde en önemli görev eğitim sistemlerindedir. Artık öğretmenin görevi öğrenme ortamında bilgiyi sıralamak değil, öğrencilere bilgiye ulaşma ve onu kullanma konusunda rehberlik yapmaktır. Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, sosyal bilgiler dersi içeriğinde yer alan Tarih konularının öğretiminde Çoklu Zeka Kuramı esas alınarak hazırlanmış olan öğrenme öğretme ortamlarının klasik ortamlara göre öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersine yönelik tutum ve sosyal bilgiler dersindeki akademik başarılarını ne düzeyde etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında anket formundan yararlanılmıştır. Anket formu iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır: Öğrencilerin kişisel bilgileri toplanarak deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin zeka davranışlarını belirlemek amacı ile Çoklu Zeka Kuramı Değerlendirme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma neticesinde deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin çoklu zekâ becerileri betimsel istatistikler ile incelenmiş ve zeka düzeyleri belirlenmiştir. Kontrol grubunun ön test ve son test başarı puanlarının arasındaki fark, deney grubu öğrencilerininkinden daha düşük olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

Knowledge has been important in every period of human history. In addition to this, knowledge has been the most important factor in the world where communication possibilities become less. The most important task in the usage of knowledge power is in the education systems. From now on, the role of teacher is not to put all in order information but is to guide students about accessing to information and usage of it. The over all objective of this research is to reveal the effect of Multiple Intelligence Theory in teaching history and to what extend this theory affects students' academic success in social studies lesson. In this research questionnaire is used during the data collection . The questionnaire consists of two main parts: Theory of Multiple Intellingence Scale is used in order to determine the behaviour of students in experimental and control groups through collecting students' personel information. As a result of research , experimental and control group students' multiple intelligence skills are examined with descriptive statistics and students' intelligence level is determined. It is observed that the difference between the pre-test and post-test achievement points of control group is lower than the points of students in the experimental group
