The following dissertation research conducted. It will be analyzing online fashion buyer behavior. The research describes the current situation of online buying and the problems the sector facing. The report then progresses mentioning the objectives of the research. Objectives include: To identify differences between online and traditional shopping in fashion preferences, to Identify decision making process of online buyers of fashion, find out what factors affect post purchase decisions in fashion industry and find out buyer preferences that will boost online fashion buying. Furthermore, the methodology of the research is explained. Qualitative and quantitative methods to gather data were used. Focus group discussions and survey questionnaires were used to gather information. Two focus groups with ten members each were conducted. A simple random sampling strategy was used to select respondents. A total of 237 handout and 250 online surveys were conducted. Additionally research define and find-out online customer behavior towards online fashion buying. Findings from secondary research and focus group discussions were showed similarities. Following theories set to be tested by quantitative study; People buy textile products online If they know the product. Customers tend to go shop see the product and buy online because online shopping seen as cheap. Online customers tend to buy product from known web sites. Half of the customers do their fashion search from Internet but not actually buy textile products. Overall theories tested and were found that consumers' behaviors showed similarities with theories. 81% of the online buyers stated that, they use Internet for searching textile products. However, 47.6% respondents reported that they buy clothes online. Therefore, half of the respondents do their search on Internet but not actually buy fashion products. 38.1% of the customers stated that, they see a product online, go to a shop and buy and 43% reported that, they see a product in a store and buy online. Therefore, Internet helps both online and traditional shopping.
