Özet (Çeviri)
The impact of macroeconomic factors on the economic growth in Turkey during the period from 1991 to 2009 is the main point of this work. Through the whole analysis, the objective is to find out both the positive and negative associations and/or relationships between or amongst the macroeconomic factors that are stated in any part of this work in order to combine them with their effects on the economic growth in the country between the given years. Therefore, the main point is aimed to be reached. The quantitative research methodology with a positivist understanding has been adopted in the present study in order to make the analysis more appropriately. The main set of data was retrieved from IMF (International Monetary Fund)'s website (www.imforg). Two correlation analyses have been included in the data analysis chapter. The first correlation analysis which consisted of 19 years' data did not provide clear or satisfying findings on the relationships between the macroeconomic factors and the economic growth in Turkey in the given period. This is the reason why the second correlation analysis has been carried out. The second correlation analysis comprised of the last 6 years' (of the given period - from 2004 to 2009) data and has provided better and more clear results and findings on the relationships between the macroeconomic factors and the economic growlh. The second correlation analysis has shown us that there is a positive correlation between UNEMP and CURGDP, TBAL and CURGDP, D3MDEP and CURGDP, and finally DDRATE and DIBMR. The current domestic product is one of the most remarkable variables here as it has either a positive or a negative correlation with three other macroeconomic variables in total (in the second correlation analysis). The reason of that is highly likely to be the regular increase in current gross domestic product from 2004 to 2008. On the other hand, there is a negative correlation between DFORES and CURGDP.
