Özet (Çeviri)
White Diamond' plants were grown in a soilless mix and fertilized with three N rates (50, 100 and 150 mg L-1) in combination 10 mg S L-1 from three S sources (sulfuric acid, potassium sulfate and magnesium sulfate). Different S application methods were used (continuous or single applications applied one, two or three times). Plants were sampled three times during experiment. Data taken included plant dry weight and height, days to bud set and first flower color and flower diameter. Plants were analyzed for total N an S concentration. The mix was analyzed for residual total N and S. The experiment design was a split-plot; nitrogen was main plot and S sources and application methods were subplots. Data were analyzed using Mixed Procedure of SAS by sampling date. Unlike previous research, leaf N concentration at the 50 mg L-1 N application exceeded the adequate level, and 100 mg L-1 and 150 mg L-1 N rates gave the highest leaf N concentration. However, 50 mg L-1 N rate produced a significantly smaller plant, which also weighed less than. However, all plants were marketable. Continuous S application (10 mg L-1) from the sulfuric acid source produced higher leaf S concentration than any of single S applications from potassium or magnesium sulfate sources. Plants receiving the continuous S application in combination with 100 mg L-1 N had the highest leaf N and S concentration. Flower diameter was large in plants receiving the continuous S application in combination with 100 mg L-1 nitrogen. Mix analysis showed that 26 times more S was present in mix which had received continuous S applications than those receiving single S applications. This difference was reflected somewhat in the leaves. However, residue of N in the mix was less than 1% and the differences among treatments was not significant. Therefore, to ensure a quality plant with large flowers and appropriate leaf N and S concentrations, S at 10 mg L-1 should be supply continuously using sulfuric acid in combination with 100 mg N L-1.
