Özet
Zamanla gelişen teknoloji ve sanayi ile birlikte insanlar estetik ve modern giyime yönelmişlerdir. Çağdaş tekstil ve moda tasarımında estetiğin hakim olduğu ve endüstriyel anlamda oluşan gelişmeler tasarımcıları, kadın ve erkek giyiminde yeniliklere itmiştir. Günümüzde Kadınların, giyimlerine özen gösterdiği kadar erkekler de giyimlerine özen göstermeye başlamışlardır. Hazırlanan tez çalışmasında, erkek giysi üretimine yeni önerilerle katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, modanın tarihinden günümüze kadar gelişen teknolojinin erkek giysi modası üzerine etkileri irdelenmiş, erkek modasının günümüze kadar gelişimi ve erkek giysilerinin vücut tiplerine göre sınıflandırılması görsel örnekler ile betimlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, çağdaş tekstil üzerinde erkek giyimine ceket ve takım elbiselik grubuna örnek desen çalışmaları yapılmıştır.

People preferred to be esthetic and modern by the developing technology and industry. The industrial developments that is dominated by esthetics pushed the designers towards innovations in men's and women's clothing. Nowadays, men began to take care of their clothing as much as women. In the prepared thesis, it is aimed to contribute to the production of men's clothing by unused proposals. Also in the thesis, the effect of the development of fashion technology on men's fashion from past to present has been researched and the development of men's fashion and the classification of menswear by their body types has been portrayed by the samples. In addition to this, a few modern textile pattern samples for jackets and suits has been performed.
