Özet
Askeri, dini ve ev eşyaları gibi çeşitli alanlarda kullanılabilen bronz araç-gereç Hellenistik ve Roma dönemlerinde sıkça kullanılmış metal çeşitlerindendir. Bu iki dönemde ve sonrasında iskân edilen Zeugma'da da çeşitli bronz buluntular bölgede yapılan kazılar sayesinde elimize ulaşmıştır. Çıkarılan buluntular kent tarihini anlamamız açısından önem taşımaktadır. Tezimde kullanılan 2005-2012 yılları arasında bulunan ve henüz yayımlanmamış 94 adet eser bulunmaktadır. Eserler Zeugma'nın A, B, Mousalar, Dionysos ve Danae evlerinden çıkarılmıştır. Bu eserlere ek olarak geçmiş yıllarda, Kurtarma Kazılarında, konutlarda bulunan ve yayımlanmamış eserlere benzeyen eserlerde teze eklenmiş ve Zeugma konutlarıyla ilgili toplu bir değerlendirme yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Böylece tez kapsamında değerlendirilen eser sayısı 168 olmuştur. Eserlerin bulundukları alanlara ve kontekstine bakarak mümkünse konutlardaki odaların işlevi ile ilgili yorum yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Kullanılan eserlerin ev sahipleriyle ilgili bilgi verip vermediğine bakılmış böylece Zeugma'daki yaşantı ile ilgili fikir sahibi olunmaya çalışılmıştır. İşlevine göre ayrılan eserler 7 konu başlığıyla incelenmiştir.

Bronze objects were used for multiple purposes during Hellenistic and Roman eras such as military, religious and household. Zeugma continued its existence after Hellenistic and Roman settlers had left the area. Therefore, variety of bronze objects have been uncovered during excavations. These objects are significant for us because they help us understand the history of Zeugma. My thesis consists of 94 bronze objects, found during 2005-2012 excavation seasons. The objects have not been published yet. They were found in the houses of A, B, Muses, Dionysus and Danae. Published objects are also added to my thesis that were found during rescue excavations. Pieces are chosen according to their similarity with unpublished objects. In that way, it is aimed to make a unified evaluation of Zeugma's houses. In short, the amount of published and unpublished objects are evaluated together and they are 168 in total. Objects' finding places at homes and contexts are analysed in order to make a comment about the functions of the rooms. Furthermore, by analysing the objects, it is also aimed to understand whether they provide an information about the owners of the houses or not. In that way, i tried to understand the life in Zeugma. These pieces are divided according to their function and they are analysed under 7 topics.
