Özet
Sessizlikten bahsedildiğinde akla ilk gelen çağrışımlar sesin yokluğunu anımsatan hareketsizlik, boşluk, ölüm gibi kavramlardır. Toplumsal bağlamlarından ayrı düşünülemeyecek bu kavramların yanında, bu çalışmanın yaklaşımını sessizliğe mümkün başka bakışların sağlayabileceği yeni imkânları açığa sermektir. Özellikle postmodern süreci merkeze yerleştirerek sessizliği sesin yokluğu yerine, sesin çokluğu üzerinden ele almayı amaçlayan bu çalışmada, sessizlik üç önemli toplumsal hat üzerinden takip edilmektedir. Birincisi terbiye edilerek bir kurguya tabii tutulmuş, günahın ve sevabın taşıyıcısı olan bedenin sessizliğidir. Beden politikaları bağlamında baktığımızda sessizlik mefhumu olanın, kurgunun, temsilin ötesini işaret ediyor olmasıyla önemli bir imkân olarak değerlendirebilmektedir. Bu aşamada Deleuze ve Guattari'nin Artaud'dan devraldıkları“organsız beden”kavramı, bedenin kurgu ötesi bir halini içeriyor olmasıyla sınır mefhumunu sorunsallaştırmada kullanılacaktır. İkinci bir hat olarak, etik kavramı, kurban ve ölüm gibi önemli toplumsal fenomenler üzerinden ele alınacaktır. Son olarak ise imgeler dünyası stabilite ve hareketlilik dahilinde“oluş”kavramıyla beraber düşünülmekte ve bu çerçevede Cevdet Erek'in sanatsal üretimlerine yer verilmektedir.

Whenever one talks about silence first things that comes to mind are the concepts which reminds the non-existence of sound such as motionlessness, emptiness, death etc. Besides these concepts, which are impossible to think apart from their social contexts, this study is based on the possibilities of other approaches. Especially by focusing on the postmodernism and multiplicity of the sound instead of its non-existence, this study follows the trails of silence through three social paths. First of these is the silence of the body which is tamed and became at the part of o structure and carrier of the evil and the good. When we examine it within the context of body politics, the“silence”by pointing out beyond of the existing, fiction and representation can be considered as an important possibility. At this point the concept“Body without Organ”, which is coined by Antonin Artaud and inherited by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, will be used as a tool to problematize the idea of limit with its ability to contain a post – fiction state of the body. As the second trail the concept of ethics will be handled within the context of social phenomena such as sacrifice, death and etc... And for the last the world of images will be considered with the concept of“becoming”. And in this context the artistic practice of Cevdet Erek will be examined.
