Özet
Kalkınma, günümüz dünyasını oldukça meşgul eden bir konu olup Hz. Peygamber'in (s) söz ve uygulamalarının bu alanda ne gibi esaslar getirdiği ve bu esasların günümüzün kalkınma meseleleriyle ilişkilerin ve güncel değerlerinin ne olduğu bu çalışmada ele alınmaktadır. Araştırmamızın birinci bölümünde, kalkınmanın kavramsal çerçevesi sunularak günümüzde ve İslam düşüncesinde kalkınma telakkisi, Kur'an-ı Kerim'de ve hadisi şeriflerde kalkınma mefhumu ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde, Hz. Peygamber'in (s) Medine pazarını tesisi ve getirdiği piyasa düzenlemelerinin güncel değerleri incelendi. Hz. Peygamber'in kalkınma tasavvurunun doğru anlaşılması için dünyayı yeren bazı rivayetlerle kalkınmayı teşvik eden rivayetlerin telifi konusu tahlil edildi. Üçüncü bölümde, iktisadi büyüme, gelir dağılımı ve kurumsal yapı başlıkları altında sosyal sermaye, katılımcı yönetim, tasarruf ve yatırım gibi pek çok kalkınma meseleleriyle ilgili rivayetlerin güncel değerleri araştırıldı.

Development is a contemporary issue which is highly discussed. This thesis studies the principles that are derived from the words and practices of the Prophet (pbuh) in this area and the linkages of these principles with the contemporary issues of development as well as some modern interpretations of these principles. In the first section, the conceptual framework of development is presented and the concept of development currently as well as in the İslamic thought along with the idea of development in the Qoran and Hadith are analyzed. In the second section, the Prophet's (pbuh) establishment of the Medinah market and the modern implications of His market regulations are examined. The reconciliation of the prophetic traditions which appear to disparage the world and those which motivate development is looked into in order to better understand His vision of development. In the third section, the modern implications of many prophetic traditions related to development issues such as social capital, participatory management, savings and investment which fall under the titles of economic growth, income distribution and institutional structure are scrutinized.
