Özet
İmam-Hatip Okulları ülkemiz eğitim camiası içinde önemli bir yeri olan okullardır. Bu okullar bilindiği üzere İmam-Hatip Okulları adı altında Tevhid-i Tedrisat Kanunuyla 1924 yılında eğitim-öğretim hayatına başlamıştır. Öğrencisinin olmaması nedeniyle 1929-1930 eğitim-öğretim yılında kapatılmıştır. 1950 yılında okullar toplumdaki ihtiyaçtan dolayı tekrar açılmış, bu süreç bazı küçük aksaklıklar olsa da 1997'ye kadar devam etmiştir. 1997'de çıkarılan yasayla bu okullar neredeyse kapanma aşamasına gelmiştir. Fakat 2012'de İmam-Hatipler yeni bir dönüm noktasına girmiştir. Bu çalışma teorik kısmıyla İmam-Hatip Liselerinin ülkemizdeki tarihi serüvenine dikkat çekmekle birlikte; uygulama kısmıyla da burada eğitim-öğretim gören öğrencilerin İHL algısı ve buna etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesini hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda öğrencilerin hangi beklentilerle bu okulları tercih ettikleri, hangi sorun veya sorunlarla karşılaştıkları, çeşitli değişkenlere göre bu algının nasıl etkilendiği incelenmiştir. Araştırmamızın uygulama kısmı için örneklem, Batman il merkezindeki İmam-Hatip Liseleri ve Kozluk ilçesinde bulunan İmam-Hatip Lisesinde öğrenim gören 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak geliştirilen anket tarafımızdan 400 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ankete katılan öğrencilerin kişisel özellikleri ve İHL algısıyla ilgili bilgi almak için toplam 47 soru sorulmuştur. Anket yolu ile elde edilen veriler SPSS Paket Programı ile çözümlenmiştir. Genel olarak sosyo-ekonomik durum, anne-babanın dini yaşantısı ve yaşanılan çevrenin öğrencilerdeki İHL algısını etkileyen faktörler olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

İmam-Hatip Highschools have an important place in our education community in Turkey. These Schools began to its first academic education in 1926 with the name İmam-Hatip according to the law. These schools aimed to give education, mainly religious education. These schools was closed between 1929-1930 educational years because there were no students. They were opened again to fulfil the needs of the community in 1950. This period continued until 1997 with little troubles. In 1997 these schools were nearly closed again according to a law. But the year 2012 was a turning point for The İmam-Hatip Highschool This study draws attention to the history of The İmam-Hatip Highschools in our country, and also aims to identify the perception of the students towards these schools and find out the factors that affects these perceptions. In this regard it is evaluated that which expectations do students have by preferring these schools, which problems do the students have, and by several variables how does the perception isaffected . For the application of our research, the sample consist of the 9, 10, 11 and 12. grade students, studying in Batman and its district Kozluk in İmam-Hatip Highschool. To collect data, a survey is developed and applied to 400 students. The personal information of the students and the perception about İmam-Hatip Highschool is asked in 47 questions. The data which is collected by the survey is evaluated with SPSS 20 package program. It is determined that, socio-economic status, parents' religious life, the environment of the students is affecting the students perception towards İmam-Hatip Highschool.
