Özet

Çalışma mevsimler alt temasında eski Türk edebiyatı metinleri kullanımının öğrencinin başarı, tutum, kalıcılık ve görüşüne etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Keşfedici desenin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada süreç, öncelikle nitel aşama ile başlamış, ardından nicel aşamaya geçilmiştir. Çalışmanın nitel kısmında eski Türk edebiyatı metinlerinin mevsimler alt teması çerçevesinde kullanılabilirliği, öğrenci başarı, tutum, kalıcılık ve görüş gibi birçok etken incelendiği için olguların derinlemesine incelenmesine fırsat tanıyan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın nicel kısmında ise ön test son test yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Eski Türk edebiyatından doküman analiziyle elde edilen verilerle Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'na uygun 3 metin ve toplam 34 etkinlik oluşturulmuş ve mevsimler alt teması çerçevesinde örnek bir ders içeriği hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan bu metinlerden biri seçilmiş ve Erzurum il merkezindeki Gazi Ahmet Muhtar Paşa Ortaokulu 6. sınıfta öğrenim gören 22 kişilik örneklem grubunda uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Yarı Yapılandırılmış Öğrenci Görüşme Formu (YYÖGF); Klasik Türk Edebiyatına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (KTETÖ), Eski Türk Edebiyatı Başarı Testi (ETEBT) ve Eski Türk Edebiyatı Metinleriyle Hazırlanan Ders İçeriği (ETEMHDİ) kullanılmıştır. KTETÖ ön test-son test olarak ETEBT ön test son test ve kalıcılık testi olarak uygulanmıştır. ETEBT ve KTETÖ ön test ve son test sonuçları nicel veri analizi yöntemleriyle çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.00 programı kullanılarak 0.05'lik önem derecesinde test edilmiştir. KTETÖ'nün yapı geçerliliği için açımlayıcı faktör analizi, ETEBT ve KTETÖ ön test ve son test sonuçlarının karşılaştırılmasında bağımlı örneklemler için t- testti, ETEBT ön test son test ve kalıcılık sonuçlarının karşılaştırılmasında ise ilişkili örneklemler için tek yönlü Anova kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda öğrencilerle yapılan görüşmeden elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemleriyle tablolaştırılıp yorumlanarak analiz edilmiştir. Uygulama sonunda başarı testi ön test-son test aritmetik ortalamasının anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Uygulamanın bitiminden 7 hafta sonra yapılan kalıcılık testlerinin sonuçları 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin belirlenen kazanımları gerçekleştirebildiğini, uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında uygulanan tutum ölçeği sonuçları ise öğrencilerin eski Türk edebiyatına ilişkin olumlu bir tutum geliştirdiklerini ve olumlu görüş bildirdiklerini, ETEMHDİ'deki etkinliklerin öğrenciler tarafından gerçekleştirildiğini göstermektedir. Uygulama sonrası öğrencilerle yapılan görüşmelerin sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan ders içeriğine ve Türkçe dersine, diğer Türkçe derslerinden daha çok ilgi duyduğu ve beğendiği; benzer şartlarda sunulacak ETE'nin Türkçe dersinde yer almasını istediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it is tried to examine the teachability of old Turkish literature texts in 6th grade Turkish lessons.The study aims to define the effects of teaching seasons subtheme, which is prepared with old Turkish literature texts, to students' attitudes, opinions, success and persistence of their success. In this study, mixed method research design that combines both quantitative and qualitative research designs was used. In the qualitative part of the study, many factors such as availability of old Turkish literature texts in the context of seasons subtheme, student's achievement, view and attitudes were examined so that case study, which provides opportunity to examine cases thoroughly, was used. In the quantitative part of the study, pre-test, post-test quasi-experimental design was used. By means of data obtained by document analysis from old Turkish literature texts, 3 texts and a total of 34 events appropriate for Turkish Lesson Curriculum were created and sample course content in the framework of seasons subtheme was prepared. One of these texts was selected and applied to sample group of 22 people studying in 6th grade of Gazi Ahmet Muhtar Pasa Secondary School in Erzurum city centre. In the study, Semi Structured Student Interview Form (SSSIF), Attitude Scale towards Classical Turkish Literature (ASCTL), Old Turkish Literature Achievement Test (OTLAT), and Course Content Prepared with Old Turkish Literature Texts (CCPOTLT) were used as data collection tool. ASCTL was applied as pre-test, post-test, and OTLAT was applied as pre-test, post-test and permanence test. Pre-test, post-test results of ASCTL and OTLAT were analysed by quantitative data analysis methods. The obtained data was analysed by using SPSS 20.00 program on the importance of 0.05. Exploratory factor analysis for construct validity of ASCTL, paired samples T test in comparing pre-test and post-test results of ASCTL and OTLAT, one way Anova for paired samples in comparing pre-test, post-test and permanence test results. At the end of the study, data obtained from interviews with students were tabulated, interpreted and analysed by descriptive analysis and content analysis method. At the end of implementation, it is seen that arithmetic mean of achievement test, pre-test, post-test was changed significantly. Results of the permanence test, which was done 7 weeks after application, show that 6th grade students can carry out identified acquisitions. The results of attitude scale, which was applied both before and after the application, show that students developed positive attitudes towards old Turkish literature and expressed positive opinions, and the events in CCPOTLT were carried out by the students. According to the results of students' interviews, which were done at the end of implementation, it is concluded that students showed more interest to course content and Turkish lesson prepared by researcher and they admired it more than other Turkish lessons and presenting OTL in Turkish lessons under similar circumstances is desired.
