Özet
Bu çalışma, felsefede ve sosyal bilimlerde tartışılagelen“ölüm”ü ve“zaman”ı, çağdaş Fransız filozof Maurice Blanchot (1907-2003)'nun anlatılarında ve teorik metinlerinde bir izlek olarak ele alma yolunu tercih etmiştir. Öte yandan onun çalışmalarında zaman, çizgisel ve ilerlemeci olmaktan ziyade 'non-lineer' bir yönelimle ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak, zamanın 'lineer' olmayan bir perspektiften felsefe tarihindeki yerine değinmek Blanchot'yu kavrama noktasında yardımcı olacaktır. Ölüm ise, onu zamansallık içinde değerlendiren düşünürlerin yaklaşımları aracılığıyla ifade edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Bu yolda, Blanchot üzerinde etkisi olduğu bilinen Heidegger'in Dasein, ölüm ve zamansallık yaklaşımı, Levinas'ın var [Il y a] ve“ötekinin ölümü”üzerinden belirlenen etik açılımı, Bataille'ın iç deney(im) nosyonu, Husserl'in fenomenolojisi ve Nietzsche'nin bengi (sonsuz) dönüş olarak ifade ettiği çevrimsel zaman anlayışı temele oturtularak, çalışmanın kapsamında Blanchot anlatılarına çok boyutlu bir değerlendirme yaklaşımı sergilenecektir. Blanchot'nun yapıtlarını ve anlatılarını filozofların ölüme ve zamana olan açılımlarıyla birlikte değerlendirilerek, onun kuramsal çalışmalarında önemli bir yere sahip olan“yazarın ölümü”,“limit deneyimi”ve“fragmanter yazı”, tez çalışmasının odağa aldığı temalar üzerinden çözümlenerek ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır.

This study took on to grapple with the concepts of“death”and“time,”which were contested in philosophy and social sciences, as a trajectory in the narratives and theoretical essays of the contemporary French philosopher Maurice Blanchot (1907-2003). On the other hand, time was considered in a non-linear tendency rather than a linear and progressive one in his studies. Thus, it would be helpful to state the place of time in the history of philosophy from a non-linear perspective in order to understand Blanchot. Death, however, is attempted to be addressed by means of the approaches of the philosophers who treated it along the temporality. On this way, an approach of multifarious evaluation to Blanchot narratives will be adopted in the ambit of this study, by concentrating on the Heidegger's approach of Dasein, death, and temporality, Levinas's ethical vista ascertained over there is [Il y a] and“the death of the other,”Bataille's notion of inner experience and Nietzsche's cyclical conception of time expressed by eternal recurrence that we know to have an influence on Blanchot. By assessing the works and narratives of Blanchot through the philosophers' approaches to death and time, the quintessential expressions of the“death of the author,”the“limit-experience,”and the“fragmentary writing”in his theoretical studies will be presented through a discussion of the themes central to the thesis.
