Özet

Wittgenstein felsefesinin“geçiş dönemine”odaklanılan bu çalışmada, Wittgenstein'ın erken dönem felsefesi ile geç dönem felsefesi arasındaki fikrî değişimin neden ve nasıl gerçekleştiğini anlamaya çalıştık. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmada temel olarak iki amacımız bulunmaktadır: İlki, Ludwig Wittgenstein'ın erken dönem düşüncelerini en sistemli bir şekilde ifade ettiği Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus'taki görüşlerinden, hangi saiklerle uzaklaştığını, karşılaştığı problemli durumların neler olduğunu ve bu problemlerin sonuçlarını Wittgenstein'ın erken dönem felsefesi açısından tartışmaktır. Bu konuyu, Frank P. Ramsey ve Pierro Sraffa'nın Wittgenstein'a yönelttiği eleştirel katkılar üzerinden anlamaya çalıştık. Özellikle Ramsey'in eleştirel katkıları çerçevesinde, Tractatus'taki“Resim Kuramı”nın ortaya çıkardığı bir problem, Wittgenstein'ın Tractatus'taki görüşlerinden uzaklaşmasında en etkili sorun olarak görünmektedir. Bu yüzden literatürde“Renk Önermelerinin Bağdaşmazlığı Problemi”olarak bilinen bu problemin, Wittgenstein'ın erken dönem felsefesi açısından hangi sonuçlar barındırdığını ele almaya çalıştık. Çalışmadaki ikinci amacımız ise, Wittgenstein'ın Tractatus'taki fikirlerinden uzaklaştıktan sonra geç dönem düşüncesini, ve bu düşüncesindeki“dil oyunları”kavramını nasıl oluşturmaya başladığını anlamak olmuştur. Böylelikle Wittgenstein felsefesindeki“geçiş dönemine”ilişkin böylesi bir çalışma ile, Wittgenstein'ın erken dönem düşüncesi ile geç dönem düşüncesi arasında takip edilebilecek makul ve muhtemel bir mantıksal izlek oluşturmaya çalıştık.

In this study, which focuses on the“transitional period”of Wittgenstein philosophy, we tried to understand why and how the intellectual shift between his early thought and later thought takes place. In this regard, we have mainly two aims in this study: Our first aim is to discuss for what reasons Wittgenstein abandons his ideas in his famous work, Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus that is the most systematic expression of his early thought and to understand which problems he confronted with; and finally to discuss the results of these problems in accordance with his early philosophy. We tried to understand this matter with the significant critical contributions made by Frank P. Ramsey and Pierro Sraffa. And it seems that particularly together with the criticism of Ramsey, one of the problems brought forth by the“Picture Theory of Meaning”seems to be the most important influence for Wittgenstein's move away from his thoughts in Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus. Therefore, we tried to discuss which conclusions we could take from this problem as regards with Wittgenstein's early thought, which is also known in philosophical literature as“Color Incompatibility Problem”. Our second aim in this study is to understand how Wittgenstein started to construct his later thought, especially“language games”concept after abandonment of his ideas in Tractatus. Thus, with such an investigation on Wittgenstein's transition (middle) period, we tried to make a reasonable and possible logical sequence that can be traced between Wittgenstein's early and later philosophy.
