Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerini cinsel istismardan korumak amacıylabir psiko-eğitim programı geliştirmek ve etkililiğini sınamaktır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Kocaeli ilinin İzmit ilçesinde bulunan bir ilkokulun 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileridir. Araştırmada deney(n=41) ve kontrol (n=39) gruplu öntest, sontest ve izleme modeline dayalızayıfdeneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Eğitim programı uygulamasından önce ve sonra gruplara bağımlı değişkenlerle ilgili öntestler ve sontestler, uygulamadan altı ay sonra ise yalnızca deney grubuna izleme testleri verilmiştir. Bağımlı değişkenlere ilişkin veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Güvenlik Farkındalık Ölçeği (KGFÖ), Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği (SBÖ) ve Piers Harris (1964) tarafından geliştirilen Piers Harris Çocuklarda Öz Kavramı Ölçeği (PHÇÖKÖ) aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Parametrik ve parametrik olmayan verilerin analizindegrupların karşılaştırılmasına yönelik hipotez testleri kullanılmıştır. Kişisel Güvenlik Farkındalık (KGF)olarak adlandırılan ve altı oturumdan oluşan psiko-eğitim programına katılan öğrencilerinKGFÖ puanlarında uygulama öncesi ölçümlere göre anlamlı düzeyde yükselme olmuş, buna karşılık SBÖ ve PHÇÖKÖ puanlarında anlamlı bir yükselme olmamıştır. Kontrol grubunun PHÇÖKÖ sontest puanları anlamlı bir şekilde düşerken, deney grubu sontest puanlarının düşmediği görülmüştür. Deney ve kontrol grubunun kişisel güvenliğe ve benlik saygılarına ilişkin öntest-sontest fark puanları karşılaştırıldığında deney grubunun KGFÖ ve PHÇÖKÖ fark puanlarının kontrol grubundan yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.Deney grubuna altı ay sonra yapılan izleme testi sonucunda öğrencilerin kişisel güvenlik farkındalık, sosyal beceri ve benlik saygılarında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı bulunmuştur. KGF psiko-eğitim programı öğrencilerin kişisel güvenliğe ilişkin farkındalıkları üzerinde etkili, sosyal becerilerileri ve benlik saygıları üzerinde etkili bulunmamıştır. Bulgular, çocuk cinsel istismarını önlemede okullarda uygulanabilecek, erişimi ve uygulaması kolay eğitim programları bağlamında tartışılmıştır.

The main purpose of this study is to develop and investigate the effectiveness of school-based child sexual abuse prevention program on elementary 3th and 4th grades students. Weak-experimantal design with pretest-posttest and control group was used.The subject consisted of 80 third and fourth grades students; 41 assigned to the experimantal and 39to the control group. Before and after program was administered measuring instruments to experimental and control group. After six months from the implementation of the training program, measuring instruments were reapplied to the experimental group. (follow up measuring). In this study Personal Safety Awereness Scale (PSAS) and Social Skill Scale (SSS)developed by the researcher were used. Also Piers-Harris Self Concept Scale (PHSCS) developed by Piers-Harris (1964) was used. In the analysisparametric and nonparametric datas, hypothesis tests were used to compare groups. According to the findings research; there was no significant increase in SSS and PHSCS scores, although there was a significant increase in PSAS scores compared to pre-implementation scores in students who were participated psycho-educational program referred to as the Personel Safety Awarenennes (PSA). While the PHSCS posttest scores of the control group decreased significantly, the PHSCS posttest scores of the experimental group did not decrease. When the pretest-posttest difference scores for the personal safety awarennes and self-esteem of the experimental and control groups were compared, it was found that the experimental group had higher scores for the PSAS and PHSCS than the control group. As a result of the follow-up test conducted six months vii after the experiment group, it was found that there was no significant difference in the students' personal safety awareness, social skills and self-esteems. As a result, PSApsycho-educational program is effective on 3. and 4. grade students'personal safety. But, program isn't effective on children' s social skills and self esteems. Findings are discussed in the context of accessible and easy to apply educational programs that can be implemented in schools to prevent child sexual abuse
