106 ABSTRACT In this research effort has been made to determine socio-cultural structure of Yassıhüyük Village and reformats trends of villagers in production, consumption and daily habits. Research has been conduected on total 120 persons above 15 years old determined by random selection among 2173 persons living in Yassıhüyük Village of Acıpayam township, Denizli Province. Of those who involved in the research 60 persons were male and 60 persons were female. Those who were above 15 years old have been divided into 6 groups and conversation has been made with total 20 persons in each age group, 10 persons being male and 10 persons being female. The research is the field study model. Socio-cultural structure and changing trends have been tried to be evaluated by means of data and information obtained through“ Questionnaire Sheet ”and“Interview”technique. Additionally by making“ literature ”review knowledge and information have been gained from studies and researches on this field. In gathering of data and information a questionnaire with 83 question has been used. Interview has been made by direct conversation with those who participated in the research. Data and information have been evaluated through a computer programme prepared by ourselves. Frequency, percentage and X^ (C-hi square) tests have been used for statistical analyses. In tables where C-hi square was not calculated however commends on frequency and percentages have been made. Level of perception in C-hi square has been accepted as 0.05. As the result of findings at the end of research, it can be said that : 1) There was change in the type of production and products produced by the villager, 2) Change in type of dresses, 3) Change in type of marriage, 4) Increase in their demand towards education. Consequently; it can be said that Yassıhüyük Village has been opened to the world by moving from being an enclosed society and has been affected by changes by observing what is going on around them.
