The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of Georgia's bilateral trade using the gravity model approach. For this purpose, the effect of the gross domestic product, distance, members of Commonwealth Independent States, neighbouring countries of Georgia and the colonial link to the Georgia's Bilateral Trade is tested over the period 1995-2014. For empirical analysis, the gravity model is estimated with the fixed effect model and ordinary least squares method (OLS), specifically focusing on the ımpact on export, import and total trade volume using three models. Findings show that the gross domestic product and distance, have an effect on Georgia's total trade volume, exports and imports, the membership of Commonwealth Independent States (CIS) has an effect on imports and exports for Georgia, neighbouring countries of Georgia has an impact on Georgia's total trade volume and the colonial link has an influence on Georgia's imports.
