Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Spor Liseleri'nde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin Eleştirel Düşünme ve Empati Kurma Eğilimlerini çeşitli değişkenler açısından inceleyerek betimlemektir. Araştırmada tarama modeli esas alınarak var olan durum olduğu şekliyle ortaya konulmuştur. Tarama modeline ek olarak ölçeklerin birbirleri ile ilişkilerini saptamak amacıyla ilişkisel model de işe koşulmuştur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İzmir Buca Atatürk Spor Lisesi ve Konya Spor Lisesi olmak üzere toplamda (n=460) öğrenci, çalışmanın ulaşılabilir evreninin oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmaya İzmir'den 176 öğrenci, Konya'dan ise toplam 284 öğrenci ile katılım grubu son halini almıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen kişisel bilgi formu ve çalışmayı etkili ve verimli hale getirmesi amacıyla geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmış UF/EMI Eleştirel Düşünme Ölçeği ve Empatik Eğilim Ölçekleri de dahil edilmiştir. UF/EMI ölçeği (Şen & Ertaş, 2004) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanarak geliştirilmiş, Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği ise Dökmen (1988) tarafından geliştirilmiştir.Verilerin analiz kısmında ise bulguların yorumlanmasında frekans ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Normal dağılıma uygun ölçüm değerleri için parametrik yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Parametrik yöntemlere uygun şekilde, üç veya daha fazla bağımsız grubun ölçüm değerleri ile karşılaştırılmasında ANOVA test (F-tablo değeri) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Parametrik yöntemler Mean±S.D. şeklinde gösterilmiştir. Normal dağılıma uygun olmayan ölçüm değerleri için parametrik olmayan yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Parametrik olmayan yöntemlere uygun şekilde, iki bağımsız grubun ölçüm değerleri ile karşılaştırılmasında Mann-Whitney U test (Z-tablo değeri), bağımsız üç veya daha fazla grubun ölçüm değerleri ile karşılaştırılmasında Kruskal-Wallis H test (χ2-tablo değeri) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Üç veya daha fazla grup için anlamlı fark çıkan değişkenlerin ikili karşılaştırmaları için Bonferroni düzeltmesi uygulanmıştır. Parametrik olmayan yöntemler Median [Min.-Max.] şeklinde gösterilmiştir. Normal dağılıma sahip olmayan ölçüm değerlerinin birbirleriyle ilişkisinin incelenmesinde Spearman korelasyon katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre cinsiyet değişkeninin eleştirel düşünme eğilimlerinden katılım alt boyutunda, eğitim alınan kurumlara göre empatik eğilim puanlarında ve öğrencilerin destekledikleri takıma karşı eleştirel düşünme katılım alt boyutlarına istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Aynı şekilde ölçeklerin spearman korelasyon katsayısı bulgularına göre genel olarak pozitif yönde orta düzeyde bir ilişki içinde oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to describe the critical thinking and empathy tendencies of students who are studying at sports high schools by examining various variables. In the study, the existing situation was determined based on the scanning model. In addition to the scanning model, the relational model has been employed to determine the relationships of scales with each other. The Study Group consists of a total of 460 students, including Izmir Buca Atatürk Sports High School and Konya Sports High School. The study ended with 176 students from Izmir and 284 students from Konya. As a data collection tool, validity and reliability studies were carried out in order to make the personal data form developed by the researcher effective and efficient, and the UF/EMI Critical Thinking scale and Empathetic Disposition Scales were included in the study. The UF/EMI scale (Şen & ertaş, 2004) was adapted to Turkish and the empathic trend scale was developed by Dökmen (1988).In the analysis part of the data, frequency and descriptive statistics were used in interpreting the findings. Parametric methods were used for the measurement values appropriate for normal distribution. ANOVA test (F-table value) was used to compare the measurement values of three or more independent groups according to parametric methods. Parametric methods mean ± S.D. D. shown in the form. Nonparametric methods were used for measurement values that were not suitable for normal distribution. Non-parametric method, in accordance with the measurement values of the two independent group comparison with Mann-Whitney U test (Z-Table value) for comparison with the measured values of three or more independent groups Kruskal-Wallis H test (χ2-value in the table) method was used. The Bonferroni correction was applied for binary comparisons of variables that differ significantly for three or more groups. Nonparametric methods Median [Min.- Max.] shown in the form. Spearman correlation coefficient was used to examine the relationship between the non-normal distribution and the mean. According to the results of the research, there were statistically significant differences in the sub-dimension of participation from the critical thinking tendencies of the gender variable, in the empathic tendency points according to the educational institutions, and in the sub-dimension of participation against the team supported by the students. In the same way, it was concluded that the scales were in a moderate relationship in the positive direction compared to the spearman correlation coefficient.
