Özet
ÖZET Resimde portre konusunun temel alındığı bu raporda, bir anlatım biçimi ve imge yaratıcısı olan portrenin Eski Mısır, Ortaçağ, Rönesans, Barok ve Yirminci Yüzyıla kadar olan dönem, sanatçılar ve üsluplar düzeyinde incelenerek hem kavramsal hem de kuramsal çerçeve oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Portre sosyal ve psikolojik açılardan incelenmiştir. Bu rapor, giriş ve diğer üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde portre konusunun seçilme nedenleri ve portre resmin Mısır Sanatı'ından günümüze değin süren değişim evreleri kısaca gözden geçirilmiştir. Raporun birinci bölümünde portre kavramı açıklanmış, sinema ve edebiyat gibi diğer sanat dallarından da örnekler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde portre, psiko-sosyol ve psikolojik içerik başlığı altında; Yüz ifadesi, Model-Ressam ve Portre Resim İlişkisi, Portrenin Ruhsal Yansıması, Grup Portreleri, Meslek ve Statüyle İlgili Portreler alt başlığında incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Portrenin Resimsel Süreci başlığı altında Avrupa, Amerika Resminde Portre ve Türk Resminde Portre diye adlandırılan iki başlık oluşturulmuştur. Bu bölümün birinci alt başlığında sanat tarihi içinde portre resmin değişim evreleri örnek resimlerle ve dönemlerin uslüp özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir. Türk Resminde Portre alt başlığında ise; 19. Yüzyılın sonlarında yapılmaya başlanan portre resmin Cumhuriyet yönetimi dönemiyle birlikte yaygınlaşmasına dikkat çekilmiştir. Konu, İzlenimcilik, Gerçekçilik, Dışavurumculuk ve Hiperrealizm üsluplarıizleğinden hareket edilerek araştırılmıştır. Portre konusunda sanatçıların çoğunun ürün verdiği göz önünde bulundurularak örnek seçiminde sınırlandırmaya gidilmiştir. Örnek seçimindeki ölçüyü; sanatçıların portre resme, yaşadıkları dönem içinde getirdikleri nicelik ve nitelik yönünden katkıları oluşturmuştur. Son bölüm ise; Yüksek Lisans sergi kapsamında yer alan resimlerin yorumlanmasına ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümde onbir resim, plastik dil esas alınarak incelenmiştir. Resimlerde, portre-mekan, porte-ışık, ve portre-renk temel plastik sorunlar olarak ele alınmıştır. Örneğin mekan, portreyi oluşturan arka plan olarak düşünülmüştür. Resimlerde mekan, perspektif kullanılarak ya da yok edilerek işlevsel hale getirilmiştir. Mekan, renk sorunu ile birlikte düşünülmüş, mekan-boya ilişkisini zenginleştiren, portreyi öne çıkaran bir çözümlemeye gidilmiştir. Çalışma sürecinde karşılaşılan plastik sorunlar, raporda örnek olarak seçilen sanatçıların resimleri incelenerek ve farklı tekniklerle denemeler yapılarak çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kavramsal çerçeve incelemesinde görülmüştür ki portre resim daha çok Avrupa merkezlidir ve kesintisiz olarak günümüze kadar süregelmiştir. Bu nedenle, portre resmin sanat tarihi içindeki değişim süreci önemli dönemler ve sanatçılarıyla ele alınmıştır.

Ill SUMMARY In this thesis of which concern is to study the portrait in the picture, these are considered on the basis of the description form and creative image of the portrait by the artist in the old Egyp, Middle Age, Renaissance, Baroque until the 20th century. By using this study, a perspective is created conceptional and also theoretical. Portrait is examined on the basis of its social and psychological view. This study has made of introduction and other three parts. In the introduction part the reason of chosing the subject portrait and evolution in Egypt Art up to date has been briefly looked through. In the first part of the study, the concept of portrait has been introduced, some examples of art branches such as cinema and literature has been given, in the second section the portrait has been investigated in the sub-titles of psychosocial and psychologic consept; Facial Expression, Model-Painter, Portrait and Painting Relations, Spiritval Reflection Of The Portrait, Group Portraits, Profession And Social Statue. In the third chapter, The Title Of Progression İn Portrait Painting has been devided in to two sub-titles; The portrait in American Painting and The Portrait in Turkish painting. In the first sub-title of this chapter, evolution of portrait painting in art history has been presented taking in the consideration of features in ancient periods. In the Turkish Portrait Painting sub-title, it has been atracted notice that portrait paainting that started to be made in the end of 1 9th century and started to be wide spreaded with the republic Governing period. The subject hasIV been considered the observations of expressionism, Impressionism, Realism and Hyperrealism styles. Taking in the consideration that most of the artists have been given products in portrait, selecting samples have been Limited. Qvalitative and quantative contribution of artists in portrait painting during their life time have been taken in to accoundt in selection of samples. In the last chapter paintings in the master thesis were explained. In the base of eleven pictures; plastic expression were investigated herein. The portrait space the portrait light and The portrait colour have been dealt with considered as plastical problems, in the pictures. To give an example, the space has been regarded as a background that formed the portrait. In the pictures, the space was made functional either using or not using perspective. The space was considered with the colour problem a solition of making the portrait more important and enriching the space-colour has been choosen. Plastical problems that have been faced with during this study, were tried to be soluted by investigating the artists that were choosen as samples and trying different technics. In this theoretical and conceptional aspects it has been seen that the portrait studies are originated in Europe and it continues permanently until today. For this reason, the pictorical process of Europian and American Art is examined with the important artists and terms.
