Özet
Araştırma konusu olarak, 20. Yüzyıldan Günümüze Sanat ve Otorite alınmıştır. Otorite ve otoritenin baskıcı özelliklerine iktidar kavramı çerçevesinde; sanatta yansımalar, gücün yöntemi altında var olma mücadelesi veren sanatçılar ve onların çalışmaları konu alınmıştır. Sanat ile otorite arasındaki ilişkiyi temel alan bakış acısıyla güç kavramı ve bu kavramın baskıyla olan bağı irdelenmiştir. Rönesans dönemine kadar sanat, mevcut otoriteye tabi iken, Rönesans'tan 19.Yüzyıla kadarki süreçte, otoritenin isteklerinin toplumun belleğine yerleştirilmesi aşamasında olmuştur. Fransız ihtilalı ile başlayan siyasal, toplumsal, dinsel ve ekonomik bağlamda iktidarın yaptırımda bulunması ile ortaya çıkan otorite ve sanat ilişkisinde eleştirel bir tavır sergilenmesine neden olmuştur. Sanat, 1960'lı yıllardan sonrasında ise, sansürün artmasıyla oluşan kaos ta; isyan, propaganda, protesto gibi düzenin güçlerine karşı gelme niteliğine sahip çalışmalar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Görsel sanatlar alanında otorite kavramından yola çıkan birçok çalışma ve araştırma yapılmıştır. Yaşanan savaşların oluşturduğu kargaşa, dolayısıyla ekonomi ve sosyal temelli bir dönüşümün başladığını göstermektedir. Bu bağlamda hayatın birçok alanında etkisini hissettiğimiz otorite ve sanat kavramlarını aynı doğrultuda incelemek ve ilişkilendirmek araştırmamızın omurgasını oluşturmaktadır. The research subject is ''Art and Authority from 20th Century to the Present''. Within the scope of power to the authority and the oppressive features of authority ;this study deals with the reflections of art and works of artists who are struggling to exist under the method of power. The concept of power and its relation to the oppression was examined based on the viewpoint of relationship between art and authority. Up Until Renaissance, art was subject to the existing authority. However, from the Renaissance till 19th century, it has been at the phase of placing the demands of the authority in the memory of the society. This led to a critical attitude in relation to authority and art that arose from the sanction of the authority in the political, social, religious and economic context that began with the French Revolution. Art; after 1960s, in chaos as a result of the increase of censor, emerged as rebellious, propagandist works and works of protest that opposed the powers of order. In the field of visual arts, there have been many studies and research based on the concept of authority. The turmoil caused by the wars shows that the economy and social based transformation have begun. Within this context , it is the backbone of our research to examine and relate the concepts of authority and art, whose influence we feel in many areas of life.
