Özet
Günümüzde tarım ürünleri fiyatlarındaki dalgalanma hem üreticiyi hem de tüketiciyi olumsuz etkilemektedir. Üretici girdi maliyetleri fiyatlarına, elde edeceği yüksek gelir ya da verim beklentisine göre üretime devam eder ya da vazgeçer. Üreticinin üretim miktarı kararını gelecek dönem beklentileri oluşturur. Cobweb teoremi, iktisatta beklenti kavramına yer veren teoremlerden birisidir. Cobweb teoremi' ne göre; üretici, üretim miktarına karar verirken, geçmiş bir dönem önceki fiyatları göz önünde almaktadır. Çalışmada tarım sektörünün özellikleri, beklenti hipotezleri, Cobweb teoremi anlatıldıktan sonra Türkiye'de üretilen ayva, kayısı, nohut ve domates için VAR analizi yapılarak model kurulmuş, değişkenler arası ilişki ortaya konulmuştur. Üretim miktarı ve fiyat değişkenleri arası ilişki durumuna göre tarım ürünlerinin Cobweb teoremine uygun olup olmadığı elde edilmiştir. İncelenen tarım ürünlerinden ayva ve kayısının Cobweb teoremine uygunluk göstermediği; nohut ve domatesin ise Cobweb teoremine uygun olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Domates ve nohutun üretim miktarları ve fiyat arası grafiksel yaklaşımı da ortaya konarak dengeye yakınsayan Cobweb durumuna uygun oldukları elde edilmiştir.

Currently, fluctuations in the prices of agricultural products has negative impact on both producer and consumer. Producer continues or discontinues production according to the producer input costs and the expectations of high income or yield. Producer's production quantity decision is formed with respect to next period expectations. Cobweb Theorem is one of the theorems that include the concept of expectation in economics. According to the Cobweb theorem, while making decision on the amount of production, the producer considers the prices of last period. In the study, the model is established by making VAR analysis for quince, apricots, chickpeas and tomatoes production in Turkey, relationship between variables is demonstrated after the characteristics of agricultural sector, expectation hypothesis, Cobweb theorem are described According to the relationship between production quantity and price variables, it is obtained whether agricultural products are suitable for Cobweb theorem. It is concluded that among the agricultural products that are examined, Quince and apricot weren't suitable for Cobweb theorem; chickpea and tomato were found to be suitable for Cobweb theorem. By demonstrating graphical closure between production amount of tomatoes and chickpeas and their prices, it is obtained that they are suitable for convergent balance Cobweb status.
