Özet
Kent, tarihsel süreçleri, sanatı, kültürü, bilimi tanımlayan ve birçok sosyal bilinci, değeri koruyarak günümüze ve geleceğe aktaran bir düzendir. Hazırlanmış olan bu çalışmada, kentin tanımı, gelişimi, sanata olan etkileri, dokusu, planlaması, tarihsel dönemleri, soyut sanatla olan ilişkilerine değinilmiştir. Kent, çevre ve görsel ortamın izlerini, sanatçının duygu ve düşüncesinin yansıdığı, insanın mekânla iç içe olmasını değerlendirmesidir. Bu durumu kendi hayal gücünü kullanıp sanata dâhil ettiği, sanata özgü resimlerini kent üzerinden kurmaya başlamış, kendi üretimini sergilemişlerdir. Sanatta, kent kavramının dönemler içerisinde yer aldığını görüyoruz. Sanayileşme dönemiyle beraber ağırlıklı olarak kent konularda yer almıştır. Bu çalışmada kent olgusu; sanat ve sanatçının kente bakış açıları ve kentin toplumsal değerleri, ekonomik ilişkilerinin ele alınarak resimsel öğelerine yer verilmiştir.

The city defines historical processes, art, culture, science and preserves many social consciousness and values. It is also a composition that transmits them to the present day and future. In this study, the definition of the city, its development, its influence on art, its texture, its planning, its historical periods and its relations with abstract art are discussed. The aim of this study is to evaluate the traces of the city, environment and visual environment by reflecting the feelings and thoughts of the artist and the intertwining of the human with the space. Artists started to build their own paintings through the city by using their imagination and incorporating them into the art, exhibiting their own production. In art, it can be seen that the concept of the city has taken place in periods. With the period of industrialization, the city has been mainly involved in the subjects. In this study, the phenomenon of the city, art and artist 's view of the city, social value of the city, economic relations are discussed and pictorial elements are given.
