Özet

İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa, Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, Orman Endüstri Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalında yürütülmek üzere Yüksek Lisans Tezi amacıyla hazırlanan bu araştırmanın kapsamını“Avrupa Birliği'ne Uyum Sürecinde Türkiye Ahşap Ambalaj ve Palet Endüstrisi”başlığı altındaki çalışmalar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma ile ilgili Türkiye'de bugüne kadar yapılmış olan çalışmalardan faydalanarak, Ahşap ambalaj ve palet endüstrisi hakkında genel bilgiler toplanmıştır. Bu bilgiler ışığında, araştırmanın kullanılabilir ve etkin olması amacıyla anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren işletmeler içerisinden seçilerek tespit edilen toplamda 96 işletme ile yüz yüze görüşme, telefonla görüşme ve Google formda anket oluşturularak mail adreslerine gönderilen anketlerin cevaplanması neticesinde değerlendirilmek üzere anket sonuçları temin edilmiştir. Çalışmanın veri kaynağını anket çalışmaları oluşturduğundan işletmelere yönlendirilen sorular; işyerlerine ilişkin bilgiler, yıllık hammadde ihtiyaçları, hammadde ihtiyaçlarını karşıladıkları yerler, hammadde temininde yaşanan güçlükler, kullandıkları hammadde türleri, üretim miktarları ve şekli, kullandıkları palet türleri ve boyutları, en temel sorunları ve yeni yatırım yapma planları gibi konularda olmuştur. Elde edilen veriler değerlendirilerek tablolar ve grafikler yardımıyla açıklanmıştır. Tartışma ve sonuç bölümünde, işletmelerin genel olarak mevcut durumları ve sorunlarına ilişkin çözüm önerileri üretilmiştir. Ankete katılan işletmelerin büyük bir çoğunluğu hammadde ihtiyaçlarını Orman depolarından ihale yoluyla temin etmektedir. İşletmelerin yarısından fazlası (%56,25) mühendis çalıştırmadığını belirtmiştir. Ankete cevap veren işletmelerin büyük bir çoğunluğu (%85,42) doğrudan ahşap ambalaj ve palet ihracatı yapmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Ahşap ambalaj işaretleme izin belgesine sahip olan işletmeler %87,50 orana sahiptir. İşletmelerin % 41,98'i sadece Isıl işlem ve % 58,02'i ise Kurutma+Isıl işlem kombinasyonlu fırınlara sahiptir. Ahşap palet türü olarak en çok (%61,36) dört yönlü, tek yüzlü palet türü; en çok talep edilen palet boyutunun ise (%52,27) 800x1200 mm olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Ayrıca, ankete katılan işletmeler yaşadıkları en temel sorunların, hammadde temininde yaşanan sıkıntı, sektörde yaşanan rekabet sonucu düşük kar marjı, hammaddenin pahalılığı, enerji maliyetlerinin yüksekliği, yatırım ve finansman yetersizliği, kalifiye eleman sıkıntısı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

The purpose of this thesis that is prepared at the İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa, Institute of Graduate Studies, Department of Forest Industry Engineering is“Wooden Package and Pallet Industry of Turkey in the European Union Accession Period.”In Turkey, taking advantage of research-related work has been completed so far, general information about wood packaging and pallet industry were collected. In the light of this information, a questionnaire was applied in order to make the research available and effective. Detected selectively in businesses operating in Turkey, a total of 96, face to face interviews with businesses, telephone interviews and survey results to be evaluated as a result of replies to the questionnaires sent to the email address creating Polls Google form is provided. Since the data source of the study is composed of surveys, the questions directed to the enterprises are; information about the workplaces, annual raw material needs, the areas where they meet the raw material needs, the raw material supply difficulties, the types of raw materials they use, production amounts and shape, the types and sizes of pallets they use, the most basic problems and plans to make new investments. The data obtained were evaluated and explained with the help of tables. In the discussion and conclusion section, solutions for the current situation and problems of the enterprises in general were produced. A large majority of the surveyed enterprises obtain their raw material needs through tenders from Forest depots. More than half (56.25%) of the enterprises stated that they do not employ engineers. The majority of the respondents (85.42%) stated that they did not directly export wooden packaging and pallets. Enterprises with a wood packaging marking permit have a ratio of 87.50%. 41,98% of the enterprises have only heat treatment and 58,02% have drying + heat treatment combination furnaces. The most common type of wooden pallet (61,36%) is four-way, one-sided pallet type; the most requested pallet size (52.27%) stated that 800x1200 mm. In addition, the surveyed enterprises stated that the most important problems they experienced were the shortage of raw material supply, the low profit margin as a result of competition in the sector, the cost of raw materials, the high energy costs, the lack of investment and financing, and the shortage of qualified personnel.
