Özet
Küreselleşen dünyada bilgiye erişim araçlarının gelişimi ile birlikte hızlı bir değişimin içine girilmiştir. Girişimsel yönelim, entelektüel sermaye ve bilgi yaratma süreci firma performansını etkileyen önemli faktörler haline gelmiştir. Sürdürülebilir olma, elde edilen rekabet avantajı ile varlığını sürdürebilme, karlılık devamı için entelektüel sermaye yaratmak, girişimsel yönelim ve bilgi yaratma sürecine önem vermek gerekmektedir. Ancak konu ile ilgili çalışmalar genelde bu kavramların her biri ile firma performansı arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanmakla sınırlanmıştır. Kavramların kendi aralarındaki ilişkiler ve oluşan ilişkiler ile firma performansı arasındaki ilişki çok da ele alınmamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı entelektüel sermaye, girişimsel yönelim ve bilgi yaratma sürecinin firma performansı üzerindeki etkisini incelemenin yanı sıra bu üç kavramın birbirleri ile olan ilişkilerini de ortaya koymaktır. Amaca yönelik veriler Marmara Bölgesinde Ar-Ge departmanı bulunan firmalar evreninden kolayda örnekleme ile seçilen Tuzla ve Gebze Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde yer alan ve Ar-Ge departmanı bulunan firmalardaki 500 yöneticiye e-posta ile yollanan ve 135 dönüş alınan anketler ile elde edilmiştir. Nedensel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak test edilen hipotezlerin sonuçlarına göre girişimsel yönelim ile entelektüel sermaye arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki; entelektüel sermaye ve girişimsel yönelim ile bilgi yaratma süreci arasında pozitif ilişki; son olarak da entelektüel sermaye, girişimsel yönelim ve bilgi yaratma süreci ile firma performansı arasında pozitif ilişki görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları performanslarını arttırmak isteyen firmaların, entelektüel sermaye oluşumuna, girişimsel yönelimi geliştirebilecek eğilimlere ve bilgi yaratma süreçlerine odaklanması konusunda yol gösterici niteliktedir.

There has been rapid change due to the developments of the means of access to information in a globalizing world. Entrepreneurial orientation, intellectual capital and the process of creating information have become important factors affecting firm performance. It is necessary to give importance to intellectual capital, entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge creation in order to be sustainable, to survive with the competitive advantage obtained and to keep the profitability. However, studies on this area are generally limited to focusing on the relationship between each of these concepts and firm performance. The relationship between the concepts and the effects of these relations on firm performance have not been discussed much. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of intellectual capital, entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge creation process on firm performance, as well as to reveal the relationship between these three concepts. The purpose-oriented data were obtained from surveys sent by e-mail to 500 executives (with 135 responses) in Tuzla and Gebze Organized Industrial Zones, selected by easy sampling from the research universe consisting of all organizations with R&D department in Marmara Region, and sent 135 responses. The results of hypotheses tests done by causal research method indicated a positive relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and intellectual capital; a positive relationship between intellectual capital and entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge creation process; and a positive relationship between intellectual capital, entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge creation process and firm performance. The results of the research give insights to firms that in order to increase their performance they should focus on intellectual capital formation, trends that can improve entrepreneurial orientation and information creation processes.
