Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin 2017 ortaokul 5. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretim programına yönelik düşüncelerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi ve veri toplama aracı olarak da yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Sultangazi ilçesinde 5. sınıflara ders vermiş olan 14 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılarla gerçekleştirilen yüz yüze görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında toplanan verilerin analiz edilmesiyle, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin yeni programda gördükleri olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri belirtikleri saptanmıştır. Bu kapsamda katılımcıların programın özellikle kazanım ve içerik öğesindeki değişikliklerin genel olarak ders sürecine olumlu yansıdığını düşündükleri görülmüştür. Katılımcılar yeni öğretim programında kazanımların sayısının azaltılmasını yerinde bir karar olarak gördüklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Katılımcıların ifadelerine göre yeni programdaki kazanımlar arasında öğrencilerin gelişim seviyesine uygun olanlar yanında uygun olmayanlar da vardır. Bulgulara göre kazanım ve konular genel anlamda edebi ve sanat ürünleriyle desteklenebilir niteliktedir. Yine katılımcıların tamamına yakını programın kazanım, içerik ve uygulama boyutunda farklı yöntem ve teknikler ile araç-gereç kullanımının uygun olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Ölçme-değerlendirme boyutunda sene içinde yapılan genel sınavların yeterli olduğu görülmüştür. Katılımcılar kazanımların yapısının öz değerlendirme yapmaya da uygun olduğunu ifade etmiştir.

The main purpose of this study is to reveal the opinions of social studies teachers towards the 2017 middle school 5th grade social studies curriculum. In the study, semi-structured interview form was used as a qualitative research method and data collection tool. The participants of the study consisted of 14 social studies teachers who taught 5th grade in Sultangazi district of Istanbul in 2017-2018 academic year. The data obtained as a result of face-to-face interviews with the participants were analyzed by content analysis technique. By analyzing the data collected within the scope of the research, it was determined that social studies teachers indicated the positive and negative aspects they saw in the new program. In this context, it was seen that the participants thought that the changes in the acquisition and content elements of the program had a positive effect on the course process in general. The participants stated that they consider reducing the number of gains as a better decision in the new curriculum. According to the statements of the participants; Among the achievements in the new program are those that are appropriate to the level of development of students as well as those that are not. According to the findings, acquisitions and subjects can be supported with literary and art's works in general. Almost all of the participants stated that it is appropriate to use different methods and techniques and tools in terms of the program's acquisition, content and application dimensions. In the dimension of measurement and evaluation, it was seen that the general exams held during the year were sufficient. The participants stated that the structure of the gains is also suitable for self-evaluation.
