Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, destekleme ve yetiştirme kursuna devam eden ilköğretim 2. kademe öğrencilerinin öz saygı, karar verme ve problem çözme becerilerini bazı özellikleri açısından incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Bitlis'in Tatvan ilçesinde 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında destekleme ve yetiştirme kursları adı altında, beden eğitimi derslerine katılan ortaokul öğrencileri, örneklemini ise farklı okullarda okuyan %59,4'ü (186) kadın %40,6'sı (127) erkek olmak üzere toplam 313 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin sahip oldukları demografik özelliklerin belirlenmesinde 12 sorudan meydana gelen uzman görüşü de alınarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış olan kişisel bilgi formu, Mann ve diğerleri (1998) tarafından geliştirilen, Deniz (2004) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılan“Melbourne Karar Verme Ölçeği”ile Yaman (2003), tarafından geliştirilen“Problem Çözme Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin yüzde ve frekans dağılımları hesaplanmış, Kolmogorov Simirniov testine göre elde edilen veriler normal dağılım göstermediğinden non-parametrik testler uygulanmıştır. This study aims to examine the skills of self-esteem, decision making and problem solving in terms of some variables for elementary education students at second level attending the support and training course. The population of the investigation constitutes the secondary school students who attend the physical education lesson under the name of support and training course at 2017-2018 academic year in Tatvan town of Bitlis and the sample of the investigation includes 59,4% (186) female and 40,6% (127) male totally 313 students who study at the different schools. Personal information form which was prepared by researcher and consists of 12 questions to determine the demographic features of the students, Melbourne Decision Making Questionary that was developed by Mann et al (1998) and made the reliability and validity studies, adapted to Turkish by Deniz (2004) to determine the students' self-esteem and decision making styles, Problem Solving Questionary which was developed by Yaman (2003) to determine the students' problem solving skills were used.
