Özet
19. Yüzyılda Edirne'de Tasavvufî Hayat: Aşçı Dede'nin Hatıraları Işığında adını taşıyan çalışmamız giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuçtan müteşşekildir. Giriş'te Tasavvuf'un tarifi ve özetle tarihine panoramik bir bakış sunduktan sonra araştırmamızın amacı, kapsamı, metodu ve kaynaklarına dâir bilgiler verdik. Birinci Bölüm, Aşçı Dede'nin Hayatı, İlmî-Tasavvufî Kişiliği ve Eserleri başlığını taşımaktadır ve içerik başlığa uygun olarak düzenlenmiştir. 19. Yüzyılda Edirne'de Siyâsî ve İctimâî Hayat başlığını taşıyan İkinci Bölüm'de; önce bu yüzyılda Avrupa'nın sonra da Osmanlı Devleti'ne durumuna bir göz attık. Edirne'nin siyâsî, iktisâdî, ictimâî, ilmî ve dînî yapısını genel hatlarıyla ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Çalışmamızın ana kısmını oluşturan Üçüncü Bölüm ise 19. Yüzyılda Edirne'de Tasavvufî Hayat başlığını taşır. Bu bölümde Edirne'de 19. yüzyılda faal olan tarîkatler ile onların tespit edebildiğimiz tekke ve şeyhlerini ele aldık. Bu çerçevede çeşitli kollarıyla beraber Halvetîler, Mevlevîler, Bektâşîler, Rifâîler, Nakşîler, Kādirîler, Celvetîler ile diğer tarîkatler Tennûrîler, Hakkîler, Sa'dîler, Zeynîler, Desûkîler ve Bedrîler ile tarîkatı tespit edilemeyen bazı tekke ve meşâyihini inceledik. Ayrıca bütün bu tarîkatlerin 19. yüzyıl Edirne'sinin ictimâî ve dînî hayatına katkılarını tespit etmeye çalıştık. Sonuç'ta ise araştırma sonucunda elde ettiğimiz bulguları arz ettik.

My thesis is entitled The Sufi Life in Edirne in 19th Century: Under The Light of the Memories of Aşçı Dede and consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, following a panoramic view of description of Sufism and its brief history, we would try to give information about the purpose of our research and its scope, method and sources. The first chapter is entitled The Life of Aşçı Dede and His Scholarly-Sufi Personality and Works; and the content is arranged according to this title. In the second part is entitled The Political and social Life Edirne in the 19th Century in Edirne. First of all, we have analysed the situation in Europe as well as in Ottoman Empire in this century. We tried to reveal the political, economic, social, scientific and religious structure of Edirne in general terms. The third part, which constitutes the main part of our study, is entitled The Sufism in Edirne in the 19th century. In this section, we discussed the active Sufi orders as well as the dervish lodges and the sheikhs whom we were able to detect in Edirne in the 19th century. In this framework, we examinded various branches Khalwatīs, Mawlawīs, Bektashīs, Rifāīs, Naqshbandīs, Qadirīs, Jalwatīs along with some other sufi orders such as Tannūrīs, Haqqīs, Sa'dīs, Zaynīs, Dasūqīs and Badrīs. Moreover, we could not find enough information concerning some dervish lodges and sheikhs. In addition, we tried to determine the contribution of all these orders to the social and religious life of Edirne in the 19th century. In conclusion, we presented the findings of the research.
