Özet
Hem bireysel hem de toplumsal unsurlar barındıran sanat eserleri üzerinden pek çok okuma yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, resim sanatı bağlamında, sanatın oluşumuna etki eden psiko-sosyal unsurların görünür kılınması amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, sanat tarihinden örneklere başvurulmuş, kültür sosyologları ve algı kuramcılarının araştırmaları incelenmiştir. Yayınlarında sanatla ilişki kuran sosyolog, antropolog ve psikologların ortaya koyduğu verilerden yola çıkarak sanat eseri çözümlemeleri yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Algı Kuramları başlığıyla oluşturduğumuz birinci bölümde, algı psikologlarının araştırmaları ışığında, sanat ile psikoloji arasındaki bağa odaklanılmıştır. Bu bağ, sanıldığı gibi yalnızca sanatçının ruhsal durumuyla ilgili değil, tüm algısal süreçler ve onları tetikleyen etkenlerle ilgilidir. Yanı sıra izleyicinin algısı da eser üzerinde yeni okumalar yapılmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. Mağara resimlerinden başlayarak sanatçıların bağımsızlaşmasına kadar geçen yüzyıllar içinde sanat, büyük oranda sosyal yapıyla ilgilidir. Sanatçı zanaatçı ayrımı fazla değildir. Sanat eserleri birer bilgi kaynağına dönüşebildiği gibi, onları anlayabilmek için döneminin sosyal yapısını da incelememiz gerekir. Kültür üst başlığıyla oluşturduğumuz ikinci bölümde sembol, ritüel, kolektif bilinç ya da kitle kültürü gibi alt başlıklarında sanatı etkileyen toplumsal unsurlar ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Modernite, sanatçının konumunu değiştirmiş, sanatı dönüştürmüştür. Yine de sanat eserlerinde sosyal etki görmek mümkündür. Görsel Algı ve Sosyal Yapı Bağlamında Leke, Soyut ve Soyutlama başlığıyla oluşturduğumuz üçüncü bölümde ise soyut sanat ekseninde gelişen modern resmi oluşturan etkenlere değinilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Many readings are made on works of art that include both individual and social elements. In this study, it is aimed to make visible the psycho-social elements that affect the generation of art in the context of painting. Accordingly, examples of art history were used, and the researches of cultural sociologists and perception theorists were examined. It is tried to analyze the works of art based upon the revealed data by sociologists, anthropologists and psychologists in their publications. In the first part, which is named with the title Perception Theories, the connection between art and psychology is focused in the light of the researches of perception psychologists. This bond is not only relevant to the attribution of mental states of the artist, but all perceptual processes and the factors that trigger them. As well as the perception of the audience, new readings can be made on the work. Art is largely related to social structure in the centuries which is starting from the cave paintings to the independence of the artists. The distinction between artists and artisans is not much. Art piece can be transformed into sources of information, and in order to understand them, we need to examine the social structure of the period. In the second section, which is named with the title of culture, the social elements that affect art in sub-titles such as symbol, ritual, collective consciousness or mass culture are tried to be put forward. Although modernity juggled around the artist and transformed the art, it is possible to see social impact in art piece. In the third chapter, which was created under the title of Stain, Abstract and Abstraction in the Context of Visual Perception and Social Structure, the factors that make up the modern painting developed in the axis of abstract art were tried to be mentioned.
