Özet
Bu çalışmada, bireyin yaşamında birbirini etkileyen ebeveyn tutumları, öz saygı seviyeleri ile problem çözme becerilerinin birbiriyle olan ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evreni Çanakkale ili Ayvacık ilçesinin merkezinde ve Gülpınar köyünde bulunan toplam 5 lisede öğrenim gören öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma örneklemi 376 öğrenciden (205 kadın ve 171 erkek) oluşmaktadır. Analiz bulgularında cinsiyet, okul türü, okul başarı durumu, ailede kaçıncı çocuk olduğu, baba öğrenim seviyesi değişkenlerine göre algılanan ebeveyn tutum puanlarında anlamlı farklılık olduğu, öğrencilerin devam ettiği okul türünün problem çözme becerisi puanlarında anlamlı farklılık yarattığı, algılanan ebeveyn tutumuyla, benlik saygı seviyesi ve problem çözme becerisi arasında ilişki olduğu, benlik saygı seviyesi ile problem çözme becerilerinin birbirinin yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Diğer taraftan da öğrencilerin yaşı, sınıfı, ebeveynlerin bir arada yaşaması, ebeveynlerin hayatta olma durumu, anne öğrenim seviyesi, ailenin ikamet ettiği yer, ebeveynlerin mesleği, ailenin geliri ile evde model aldıkları kişinin öğrencinin algıladığı tutum, benlik saygı seviyesi ve problem çözme becerisi puanlarında anlamlı farklılık yaratmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, the relationship between parental attitudes, self-esteem levels and problem solving skills were investigated. The universe of this study consist of students studying in 5 high schools in the center of Ayvacık district of Çanakkale and Gülpınar village. The study sample consisted of 376 students (205 women and 171 men).In the findings of the analysis, it has found that there is a significant difference in the perceived parental attitude scores according to the variables of gender, type of school, achievement level, number of siblings, rank of siblings in the family, father educational level; it also has been found that the school type that the students have continued make significant differences in problem solving skills points and it is determined that there is a relationship between perceived parental attitudes, self-esteem level and problem solving skills; self-esteem level and problem solving skills are predictors of each other. On the other hand, the age of the students, class, parents living together, parents living status, mother education status, the place of residence of the family, the profession of the parents, the income of the family and the person they model at home haven't made a significant difference in the students' perceived attitude, self-esteem level and problem solving ability scores.
