SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS' SOURCE OF STRESS: SAMPLE FOR UŞAK OZDEMİR TURGUT MATERS, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT THESIS SUPERVISOR:YRD.DOÇ.DR.M.HAKAN GÜLVEREN NOVEMBER 2015,104 PAGE The aim of this study is to reveal sources of stress of school administrators who work in Uşak. In this research the Crosshatching Model and a Quintetlikert Type questionnaire that consısts of two sections and is developed by the researcher are used. In the firts chapter there are questions about personal information. The second chapter includes questions that are intended to measure stress sources. The questionnaire was applied to 100 high school and primary school administrators in 2013-2014 academic year. Mann – Whithey U test and Kruskall Wallis H test were used to analyse the data. It has been stated that school administrators working in Uşak are affected by the level of middle with the factors that cause stres. Most of them agree that“ To deal with the format rather than the esence of the work, lack of financial resources, indifference of parents, lots of bureaucratic procedures, the frequent change of education programs, few personal, senior management's not showing the necessery interest in the problems of the school and the frequent change of legistation”cause stess. Exposure ofthe business of school administrators to stres factors, Uşak Province gender, age,position titles, institution, management seniority, the number of teacher training in the management of and participation in service training didn't show a significant difference in terms of availability.
