Özet
Amaç: Araştırma maneviyatı güçlendirme eğitiminin hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan hastaların anksiyete ve depresyon düzeylerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma; randomize-kontrollü araştırma deseni kullanılarak yapıldı. Araştırma, Ocak 2019 – Nisan 2020 tarihleri Muş Devlet Hastanesi Hemodiyaliz Ünitesinde yapıldı. Hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan ve araştırmaya alınma kriterlerine uygun toplam 71 kişi (33 deney, 38 kontrol) ile araştırma tamamlandı. Deney grubundaki hastalara 16 oturum maneviyatı güçlendirme eğitimi verildi. Verilerin toplanmasında“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ile“HADÖ”kullanıldı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı, yüzde, ortalama, ki kare, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, tekrarlı ölçümler için Friedman testi, Will Coxon İşaretli Sıralar testi ve Mann Whitney-U testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Girişim öncesi deney ve kontrol grubunun anksiyete ve depresyon düzeyinin orta seviyede olduğu belirlendi. Grup içi karşılaştırmada; deney grubunda bulunan hastaların anksiyete ve depresyon ön test, son test ve izlem testi puan ortalamaları arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak önemli bulundu (p˂0.05). Kontrol grubu grup içi karşılaştırmasında ise, anksiyete ve depresyon ön test ve son test puan ortalamalarında istatistiksel olarak önemli bir değişimin olmadığı belirlendi (p>0.05).Deney grubu hastaların sontest ve izlem testindeki anksiyete ve depresyon puan ortalamaları arasında artış yönünde, öntest ile sontest arasında düşüş yönünde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulundu (p<0.05). Sonuç: Maneviyatı güçlendirme eğitiminin hastaların anksiyete ve depresyon düzeylerini azaltmada etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tamamlayıcı ve alternatif tedavi yöntemlerinden biri olan manevi bakımın, hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan hastalarda, anksiyete ve depresyon yönetiminde hemşirelik girişimi olarak kullanılması önerilmektedir.

Aim: This research was conducted to determine the effect of spiritual strengthening training on the anxiety and depression levels of patients receiving hemodialysis treatment. Material and Method: This research was carried out using a randomized-controlled research design. The research was carried out in Muş State Hospital Hemodialysis Unit between January 2019 and - April 2020. The research was completed with a total of 71 people(33 experiments, 38 controls) who received hemodialysis treatment and were in accordance with the inclusion criteria. Patients in the experimental group were trained 16 sessions of spirituality strengthening.“Personal Information Form”and“HADS ”were used to collect the data. In the evaluation of the data, number, percentage, mean, chi-square, t test in independent groups, Friedman test for repeated measurements, Will-Coxon Signed Rows test and Mann Whitney-U test were used. Findings: It was determined that the level of anxiety and depression in the experimental and control groups before intervention was moderate. In the in-group comparison, the difference between the anxiety and depression pre-test, post-test and follow-up test mean scores of the patients in the experimental group was found statistically significant (p˂0.05). In the comparison of the control group within the group, it was determined that there was no statistically significant change in the anxiety and depression pretest and posttest mean scores (p> 0.05).An increasing statistically significant difference was found in the anxiety and depression subscale mean scores of the experimental group in the posttest and follow-up test. A declining statistically significant difference was found between the pretest and posttest of the experimental group. (p <0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that training to strengthen the spirituality was effective in reducing the anxiety and depression levels of the patients. It is suggested that spiritual care, which is one of the complementary and alternative treatment methods, can be used as a nursing intervention in patients receiving hemodialysis treatment, for anxiety and depression management.
