Özet

Bu araştırmada, ergenlerin gelecek beklentileri, okula uyumları bazı değişkenler (cinsiyet, okul türü, yaş, sınıf düzeyi, lise tercih sebebi, barınma şekli) açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 651 ergenden oluşmaktadır. Ergen gelecek beklentileri ile ilgili veriler“Ergen Gelecek Beklentileri Ölçeği”(Tuncer, 2011), okula uyum ile ilgili veriler“Okula Uyum Ölçeği”(Durnalı, Filiz ve Aydın, 2018) ile toplanmıştır. Bazı değişkenlere (cinsiyet, okul türü, yaş, sınıf düzeyi, lise tercih sebebi, barınma şekli) ilişkin veriler araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın hipotezleri doğrultusunda elde edilen verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amacıyla Kolmogorov-Smirnov ve Shapiro Wilk normallik testleri uygulanmıştır. Ölçelerden elde edilen verilerin varsayımları karşılamaması nedeniyle parametrik olmayan yöntemlerden Kruskal Wallis ve Mann Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın hipotezleri doğrultusunda araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, ergen gelecek beklentilerinin tüm alt boyutları (iş ve eğitim, evlilik ve aile, din ve toplum, sağlık ve yaşam) ile okula uyum arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p

In this study, future expectations of adolescents is examined in terms of adaptation to school and some also (gender, school type, age, grade level, high school preference reason, type of accommodation). The sample of the present study consist of 651 adolescent. Data related to expectations of adolescents were collected by“Future Expectations Scale for Adolescents”(Tuncer, 2011) and the data related to adaptation to school were collected by using“Adaptation of School Scale”(Durnalı, Filiz and Aydın, 2018). Other variables (gender, school type, age, grade level, high school preference reason, type of accommodation) were assessed through“Personal Information Questionnaire”, developed by the author. In accordance with the hypotheses of the research, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro Wilk normality tests were applied to determine whether the data obtained showed normal distribution. Since the data obtained from the measurements did not meet the assumptions, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U tests, which are non-parametric methods, were used.
