Özet
Bu araştırma okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden çocuklara uygulanan dijital oyun destekli sosyal beceri eğitim programının sosyal beceri kazanımına etkisini incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında Dijital Oyun Destekli Sosyal Beceri Eğitim Programı geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma ön test-son test, kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desende gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı bir ilkokulun iki ana sınıfına devam eden deney grubunda 25, kontrol grubunda 24 olmak üzere 49 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubuna araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Dijital Oyun Destekli Sosyal Beceri Eğitim Programı haftada iki gün olacak şekilde sekiz hafta süresince uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; çocukların ve ailelerin demografik özelliklerine yönelik bilgi elde etmek amacıyla“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, çocukların sosyal becerilerini belirlemek amacıyla“Okul Öncesi Sosyal Beceri Değerlendirme Ölçeği-OSBED Öğretmen Değerlendirme Formu”kullanılmıştır.“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ve“Okul Öncesi Sosyal Beceri Değerlendirme Ölçeği-OSBED Öğretmen Değerlendirme Formu”eğitim programı uygulanmadan önce deney ve kontrol grubuna ön test olarak sınıf öğretmenleri tarafından doldurulmuştur. Deney grubuna sekiz haftalık eğitim programının uygulanmasının ardından deney ve kontrol gruplarına son test olarak“Okul Öncesi Sosyal Beceri Değerlendirme Ölçeği-OSBED Öğretmen Değerlendirme Formu”sınıf öğretmenleri tarafından tekrar doldurulmuştur. Son test uygulanmasından üç hafta sonra verilen eğitimin kalıcılığını belirlemek için deney grubuna kalıcılık testi yapılmıştır. Çocukların ve ailelerin demografik özelliklerine ilişkin dağılımlar frekans ve yüzde değerleri olarak verilmiştir. Dijital oyun destekli sosyal beceri eğitim programına katılan çocuklara uygulanan eğitim programının etkisini belirlemek için verilerin dağılımı normal olmadığından Mann- Whitney U Testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda hazırlanan Dijital Oyun Destekli Sosyal Beceri Eğitim Programının çocukların sosyal becerileri kazanımlarını pozitif yönde etkilediği ve bu etkinin kalıcı olduğu saptanmıştır.

This research was conducted for the purpose of exploring the effect of 'Social Skills Training Program Supported With Digital Games' on the development of social skills of children studying at preschool institutions. 'Social Skill Training Program Supported With Digital Games' was developed within the context of this research. The research was performed using quasi-experimental design applied as pre-test and post-test with control group. The study group is comprised of 49 children studying in the school year of 2018-2019 at two preschool classes of an elementary school affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. The class with 25 children makes up the experimental group whereas the control group is the class with 24 children. 'Social Skills Training Program Supported With Digital Games' which was developed by the researcher was applied to the experimental group for two days per week during eight consecutive weeks. In the research, as the data collection tool, 'Personal Information Form' was used for obtaining data on children's and their families' demographic characteristics and 'Teacher Form of the Preschool Social Skills Assessment Scale (PSSAS)' was utilized for identifying children's social skills. Prior to the application of the training program, 'Personal Information Form' and 'PSSAS Teacher Form' were filled in as pre-test by the teachers of each class representing experimental group and control group. After the application of the training program to the experimental group for eight weeks, 'PSSAS Teacher Form' was filled in again as post-test by the teachers of each class representing experimental group and control group. After three weeks following the implementation of pos-test, the permanency test was applied to the experimental group in order to find out the permanency of the training program which was offered to the experimental group. In the study, children's and their families' demographic characteristics were expressed as frequencies and percentages. In order to identify the effect of the educational program applied to children participating in 'Social Skills Training Program Supported With Digital Games', Mann-Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test were used as the data were not normally distributed. At the end of the research, it was discerned that 'Social Skills Training Program Supported With Digital Games' which was prepared in the context of the research had positive effect on the attainment of social skills by children and this effect was permanent.
