Özet

Klasik dönemde tefsir tarihine dair eser olarak bazı tabakat çalışmaları gösterilebilir. Modern dönemde ise sadece tefsir değil birçok ilim dalı için müstakil tarih çalışmaları başlamıştır. Avrupa'da başlatılan bu çalışmalar metod bakımından daha önce görülmemiş özelliklere sahiptir. Bunun tefsir tarihi alanındaki ilk örneği, Alman müsteşrik Ignaz Goldziher'in (ö. 1921) Die Richtungen Der Islamichen Koranauslegung adlı eseridir. Goldziher batı tarzı bir usulle telif ettiği bu çalışmasında tefsir tarihini ilk dönemden itibaren müfessirlerin yönelimlerini esas alarak tasnif etmiştir. Müfessirlerin tefsirlerini eleştirel bir üslupla tanıtmış, özellikle ihtilaf ve mezhep taassubu ihtiva eden görüşlere vurgu yapmıştır. Goldziher tarafından ortaya koyulan tefsir tarihi yazımındaki modern metodun bilinen ilk takipçisi, Mısırlı âlim Muhammed Hüseyin ez-Zehebî'dir (ö. 1977). Zehebî'nin et-Tefsîr ve'l-Müfessirûn'u ile şöhret bulan Goldziher'e ait tefsir tarihi yazım yöntemi, daha sonra telif edilen çalışmaların tamamına yakınını etkilemiştir. Bu çalışmamızda, modern dönem tefsir tarihi yazıcılığının büyük ölçüde Goldziher ve takipçisi Muhammed Hüseyin ez-Zehebî tarafından şekillendirilmesi, aynı dönemde telif edilen Arapça ve Türkçe eserlere etkileri üzerinden incelenmiştir.

Some works of Tabaqat can be shown as work on the history of tafsir in the classical period. On the other hand, independent history studies have begun not only for tafsir but for many science branches in the modern period. These studies, which started in Europe, have features that have not been seen before in terms of method. The first example of this in the field of tafsir is the work of Die Richtungen Der Islamichen Koranauslegung by German undersecretary Ignaz Goldziher. Goldziher has classified the tafsir history based on the orientation of the commentators from the first period in this work, which he uses a western style. He introduced the commentators' tafsirs in a critical style, especially emphasizing the views involving dispute and sectarian nomism. The first known follower of the modern method in tafsir history writing created by Goldziher is the Egyptian scholar Muhammed Hüseyin ez-Zehebî. Tafsir history writing method by Goldziher, who became famous with Zehebî's work titled et-Tafsîr ve'l-Mufessir, affected almost all of the works that were later accommodated. In this study, the fact that Goldziher and his follower M.H. ez-Zehebî shaped the modern tafsir history writing was examined through its effects on Arabic and Turkish works that were accommodated in the same period.
