Özet
Araştırmanın amacı tam sayılar konusunun oyunlarla öğretiminin ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik başarısına, bilgilerinin kalıcılığa etkisini ve öğretim sürecine ilişkin öğrenci görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma deneysel desenlerden tek grup ön test-son test desenli olup Konya ilindeki bir devlet ortaokulunun yedinci sınıfında okuyan 30 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilere 5 hafta süreyle tam sayılar konusunun öğretimi oyunlarla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin başarılarını belirlemek için ön test, son test ve uygulamanın bitiminden 8 hafta sonra kalıcılık testi olarak başarı testi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin öğretime yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek için yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde t testi ve Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda oyunlarla öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarılarına etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla başarı testlerinden elde edilen veriler karşılaştırılmıştır. Verilerden elde edilen bulgulardan 7. sınıf ''Tam Sayılar'' alt öğrenme alanının öğrenilmesinde oyunla matematik öğretiminin cinsiyet faktörüne bağlı olmaksızın öğrenci başarısını olumlu etkilediğine, başarı düzeylerini artırdığına ve kalıcılığı sağladığına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerden öğretime yönelik olumlu görüşler alınmıştır.

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of mathematics teaching with games on integers on academic success, permanence and student opinions in 7th grade students. The research was carried out with 30 students studying in a single group pre-test-post-test pattern and seventh grade of a public secondary school in Konya. The teaching of the whole numbers subject to the students for 5 weeks was carried out with games. Achievement test was applied as a retention test 8 weeks after the end of the pretest, posttest and application to determine the success of the students. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted to determine students' views on teaching test and Mann-Whitney U test were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the analysis, the data obtained from the achievement tests were compared to examine the effects of games and teaching method on student achievements. The gender factor did not affect the achievement test results. It was found that teaching mathematics through games positively affects student achievement, increases their achievement levels and provides permanence in learning outcomes. In addition, positive opinions were received from the students for teaching.
