Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında 6. sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersinde akıllı tahta kullanımının öğrencilerin akademik başarısına ve bilgilerinin kalıcılığına etkisinin olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında Mersin İli Yenişehir ilçesindeki Perşembe Vakfı Ortaokulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 62 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada yöntem olarak kontrol gruplu ön test- son test deneysel modeli kullanılmıştır.“Kuvvet Ve Hareket Ünitesi”deney grubunda akıllı tahtayla hazırlanmış etkinliklerle desteklenen fen öğretimi yardımıyla işlenirken, kontrol grubunda ders kitabında yer alan etkinliklere bağlı kalınarak işlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yirmi üç sorudan oluşan bir başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Başarı testinde kullanılan soruların güvenilirlik ve madde ayırt ediciliklerinin bulunması için 128 öğrencinin katıldığı pilot uygulama gerçekleştirilmiş ve üç madde testten çıkarılarak başarı testine son şekli verilmiştir. Bu test deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ön test ve son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Kalıcılığı kontrol etmek amacıyla 4 hafta sonra yinelenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin başarılarında, deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur. Aynı zamanda kalıcılık puanlarına bakıldığında, deney grubu öğrencilerinin konuyu kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden daha iyi anladıkları görülmüştür. Elde edilen verilerden, akıllı tahta kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen fen öğretiminin öğrenci başarısını ve bilgilerinin kalıcılığını arttıracağı söylenebilir.

In this thesis, it was examined whether the use of smart boards in teaching of the force and motion unit in the primary school 6th grade Science course has an effect on students' academic achievement and retention of their knowledge. The study group of the research consists of 62 students studying at Perşembe Vakfı Secondary School in Yenişehir district of Mersin province in the 2019-2020 academic year. In this study, pre-test and post-test experimental model with control group wasused as a method. While science teaching supported by activities prepared with smart boards that attracted more attention to the experimental group students, science teaching was applied to the control group students by adhering to the activities in the textbook. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 22 package program. As a data collection tool, an achievement test consisting of twenty-three questions belonging to the MEB textbook“Force and Motion Unit”developed by the researcher was used. In order to find the reliability and item discrimination of the questions used in the achievement test, a pilot application was carried out with 128 students and three items were removed from the test and the final form was given to the achievement test. This test was administered to the experimental and control group students as a pre-test and a post-test. It was repeated after 4 week stocheck the permanence. T test was used in the analysis of the data. At the end of the study, it was found that there is a significant difference in the success of the experimental and control group students in favor of the experimental group. At the same time, when the permanence scores were examined, it was seen that the experimental group students under stood the subject better than the control group students. From the data obtained, it was determined that science teaching using smart boards will increase student success and the permanence of their know ledge.
