Özet
-85- Bu çalışmada 1985 yılında E.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi tarla Bitkileri Bölümünde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Melez-I= Nazilli 66/100 (74-38)x 153-F ve Melez -II= Delcerrox Taşkent-I(76-5) grubuna ait F3 BCp1 S2, BCp2S2 generasyonlarındaki hatlar kullanılmıştır. Deneme hatları Akdemir (1985) tarafından yürütülen Doktora Pamuk Araştırma Projesinden sağlanmıştır. Deneme E.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi Menemen Uygulama Çiftliğinde; her generasyon bir blok oluşturacak şekilde ve tek bitki dölleri halinde tekerrürsüz kurulmuştur. Ayrı ayrı her generasyon içinde fenotipik özellikleriyle iyi görülen bitkiler seçilmiş ve bunların“toplam koza sayısı, koza kütlü ağırlığı, 5 karpelli koza oranı, çırçır randımanı, tohum indeksi, kütlü verimi ve lif uzunluğu”değerleri bulunmuştur. Bulunan bu tek bitki değerlerinden her generasyon için ayrı ayrı ortalama, varyans ve güven aralığı hesaplanmıştır. Çizelge 14'de generasyonlara göre hesaplanmış olan ortalama ve güven aralığı değerleri topluca verilmiştir. Ortalamalar ile, incelenen özellikler bakımından meles pamuk generasyonlarının genel durumu ve birbirleri ile olan karşılaştırmaları yapılmış, güven aralığı ile de incelenen özellikler bakımından, generasyondaki bitkilerin konumları saptanmıştır. Ayrıca koza sayısı, koza kütlü ağırlığı, 5 karpelli koza oranı, kütlü verimi ve lif uzunluğu özellikleri arasındaki korelasyonlarda araştırılmıştır. F3 Generasyonu (Nazilli 66/100x153-F: F3 melez hatlarının kütlü verimi ve koza sayısı ortalaması yüksek, koza kütlü ağırlıkları ise diğer 5 generasyondan düşük olmuştur. Hatlar 5 karpelli koza oranı ve çırçır randımanı bakımından iyi durumdadır. Ancak tohum indeksi ve lif uzunluğu değerleri düşüktür.o a.n u

-90- SUMMARY This study has been conducted at the Department of field Crop of Agriculture Faculty of Aegen University in 1985. In the investigation the starins belonging to two crosses, Nazilli 66/100(74-38) x 153-F (Crose I) and Delcerro x Taşkent-I (76-5) (Crose II), provided by Dr. Akdemir in the experiment of cotton resaereh in three populations, which are as F3, BCp1 S2 and BCp2 S2. In this experiment which the strains were grovn in the field at the Experiment and Research from of Agriculture Faculty of Aegean Universty Menemen. Each blok was arranged in a way to be grwn one generation in the Single plant proganies as non replicated. The indivudial plants which have a good apperranse as phenotypical were selected in each generation and determined the total numbers of boll, seed cotton weight per boll, the percentage of boll with five carpels, ginning percentage, seed index seed cotton yield and fibre lenght. The mean, variance and confidanse limits were estimated separately from single plant values for each generation. These values of mean and confidence limits were presented for each generation in the Tablo 14. The general performance of crose populations in each generation with respect to characteristics studies was determined by means and confidanse limits and made the comparirous among the generations. In addition the correlations between the number of boll, seed cotton weight per boll, the peroantage of boll with five carpels, seed cotton yield and fibre length were investigadet..9İ- In c v O ti-92- F3 Generation (Nazilli 66/100x153-F): The seed cotton yield and the mean of number of the bolla re larger but the seed cotton weight is lower than other five generations. Thestrains hod a good performance with a view toperoentage of boll with five carpels but the values of the seed index and fibre length were low. The characteristic most important which determined the yield was the number of boll in the F3 Strains because of aveilability the high correlation between the number of the boll and seed cotton yield. The generation showed a high performance with regar to generative characteritics but qualty characteristics (fibre length). In the F3 generation the plants 15, 16, 26, 42-2, 53-1, 57 and 91 in number were most superior. BCp1S2 Generation (Nazilli 66/100x153-F)x Nzilli 66/100: The starins included in this back-Cross population was found to be largest concerning the number of boll and seed-cotton yield. In metioned strains the ginnig percantage of boll with five carpels in high but fibre length is moderate while the seed index is low. The number of boll was most substantiel characteristic in estimating the yield since the correlation was found highly between the number of boll and the seed-cotton yield in the BCp1S2 population. The plants 124, 125, 134-1, 134-2, 136-3 and 171 in number selected from this back-cross starins which were determined to be of value for generative characteritions but fibre length, a guality characterictic.-93- BCp2S2 Generation ( (Nazilli 66/100x153-F)153-F) BCp2S2 Starins were lowest for the seed-cotton yield and fibre length but ginnig percentage and percentage of boll with five carpels among all the generations. It was determined to be low the characteristics of seed-cotton weight per boll, the number of boll, the seed index and length in all the starins. It was found that the positive correlations between the number of boll and the seed-cotton yield was lower than the other generations in this back-cross population's strains. Also, the correlation between fibre longth and the seed-cotton weight per boll was positive but the number of boll and seed-cotton weigth per boll. The number of boll and fibre plant were most important traite to determine the yield in this generation. The plants 212-2, 220, 236-1 and 236-2 in number were superior in this generation which the yield and qualty properties (fibre length) were low. F3 Generation (DelcorroxTaşkent-I): F3 starins were low in regard to seed-cotton yield and seed-cotton weight per boll while the number of boll and the percentage of boll with five carpels were moderate in thees strains. Also, the strains were of high values for the seed index and fibre length but moderate for ginning percantage Because of availability of positive and high correlation between the number of boll and the seed-cotton yield the most important trait which becomes avident for the yield was the number of boll in F3. strains. Inaddition it was found a negative correlation between the number of boll and seed-cotton weight per boll.-94- The plants selected from the starins 324, 343, 345, 353, 368, 381, 388 and 399 in number were superior in this generation wich was good for generative traits and fibre length in general. BCp1S2 Generation (DelcerroxTaşkent-I)xDelcerro: It was determined the fibre length, the seed index and the seed-cotton weight per boll to be largest while the number of boll, the percentage of boll with carpels and ginning percentage were lowest in the strains of this generation. Since there was a high and pozitive correlation between the number of boll and the seed-cotton yield, the number of boll was most important trait to determine the yield. The plants selected fron the strains 414, 432, 445, 456 in number was found to be superior in this generation which the long fibreness appeared. BCp2S2 Generation ( (DelcerroxTaşkent-I)x Taşkent-I): The seed-cotton weight per boll and the seed index were high while the ginning percentage, the seed-cotton yield and fibre length were moderate in the starins in BCp2S2. The strains hada low performance in respect to the number of boll and the percentage of boll with five carpels. Because it was determinet a positive and high correlation between the number of boll and the seed-cotton yield the number of boll was most important trait to determine the yield. In addition, these was a negative correlation between thr number of boll and the seed-cotton weight per boll in this strains. The plants selected from 523, 532, 533, 537, 546, 548, 549 and 582 in number were superior in the generation which the seed-cotton yild and fibre length were modente.
