Özet
Bu çalışma hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ağrı yönetimi konusunda bilgi ve tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı türde yapıldı. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde bir vakıf üniversitesinin hemşirelik bölümünde ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıfta öğrenim gören 129 hemşirelik öğrencisi oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında Öğrenci Tanıtım Formu, Hemşirenin Ağrı ile İlgili Bilgi ve Tutum Anketi (KASRP-N) kullanıldı. Verilerin istatistiksel değerlendirilmesinde yüzde, ortalama, ShapiroWilk testi, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal Walls ve Thamne's T2 testleri kullanıldı. Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin %82,2'sinin kadın, %72,8'inin eşit oranda üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıfta, %62'sinin Anadolu/Fen lisesi mezunu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin KASRP-N ölçeğinden aldıkları ortalama puan 13,48±3,60 olup; ölçek sorularına doğru yanıt verme oranı %34,5 ile zayıf düzeyde bulunmuştur. Başarı puanlarının öğrencilerin tanıtıcı özellikleri ile karşılaştırıldığında Öğrencilerin eğitim gördüğü sınıf, daha önce herhangi bir derste ağrı konusu anlatılma durumu, en sık yaşanılan ağrı tipi ve ağrının nedeninin varlığı değişkenleri ile KASRP-N toplam ölçek puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Çalışmadan elde edilen bu sonuca göre hemşirelik eğitiminde öğrencilerin ağrı ve ağrı yönetimi ile ilişkili yetersiz olduğu konulara daha fazla yer verilmesi ve farklı öğretim yöntemlerinin kullanılması önerilebilir.

This study was designed as a descriptive study to determine the knowledge and attitude of nursing students about pain management. The sample of the research consisted of 129 second, third and fourth year nursing students studying at a nursing department of a foundation university in Istanbul. As data collection tools, Student Description Form and the Knowledge and Attitudes Survey Regarding Pain-Nurse were used. In the statistical analysis of the data, percentage, mean, ShapiroWilk Test, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis and Thamne's T2 tests were used. 82.2% of the students participating in the study were determined that the females and 62% were graduated from Anatolia / Science High School. The mean score of the students in KASRP-N scale was 13,48±3,60. It was also found that the rate of giving correct answer to the questions in the scale was at weak level with 34.5%. When the scores were compared with the descriptive characteristics of the students, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the variables of the grade level, the situation of being educated about pain in any lesson before, the most commonly experienced type of pain, the existence of the pain's cause and total scores of KASRP-N scale (p<0,05). According to the result which was obtained from this research, it can be recommended to include the subjects in which students are incompetent about pain and pain management more intensively in the nursing education and to use various teaching methods.
