Özet
Bu çalışmada çağdaş epistemoloji alanındaki güncel tartışmalar konu edinilmiş ve bu tartışmaların Türkçe literatüre yansımaları incelenmiştir. Gettier sonrası epistemolojide yaşanan kırılma, epistemoloji tarihinin yönünü değiştirmekle kalmayıp bu alandaki kavram ve kuramlara yönelik algıyı da değiştirmiştir. Geleneksel bilgi tanımının çözümlenmesi ile başlayan süreç, bu tanıma yönelik gereklilik ve yeterlilik koşullarının tartışılmasına evrilmiştir. Özellikle gerekçelendirme bileşeni etrafında tartışmalar yürütülmüş, içselci ve dışsalcı gerekçelendirme anlayışlarının yanı sıra çok sayıda yeni gerekçelendirme anlayışı da literatüre girmiştir. Çağdaş epistemoloji olarak ifade edilen bu dönemde pek çok yeni kavram ve kuram ortaya çıkmış ve yeni tartışmalar tamamen bu eksende yürümeye başlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı güncel epistemoloji tartışmalarının konu ve kavramlarını izahlı bir şekilde sunmak, kavramların kullanımlarını ve çevirilerini tespit ettikten sonra İngilizce-Türkçe Bir Çağdaş Epistemoloji Sözlüğü önermektir. Çalışma boyunca bu amaçlar doğrultusunda söz konusu kavramlar tartışılmış ve böyle bir sözlüğün önem ve mahiyeti aktarıldıktan sonra belirlenen ilke ve esaslar çerçevesinde bir sözlük önerisinde bulunulmuştur.

In this study, the recent arguments in the field of contemporary epistomology are discussed and their reflections on the literature in Turkish are examined. The post Gettier epistemological breakdown not only changed the direction of the history of epistemology, but also changed the perception of concepts and theories in this field. The process, which starts with analyzing the conventional definition of knowledge, evolved to the discussion of necessities and requirements of this definition. The discussions have been particularly carried out around the justification component and many new justification approaches have been added to the literature as well as internalist and externalist justification approaches. In this novel era defined as contemporary epistemology, a great deal of new concepts and theories have been proposed and the discussions have started to be mostly carried out in this line. The aim of this study is to provide an extensive overview of the recent epistemological discussions in an explanatory way and to propose an English-Turkish Epistemology Dictionary after determining the usages and translations of concepts. Throughout the study, these concepts are discussed in line with these aims and thereafter, the importance and nature of the dictionary in question are presented. Upon drawing a framework consisting of specific principles and elements, a dictionary is proposed.
