Özet
Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v) e Kur'ân ilk indirildiği tarihten itibaren tefsir ameliyesine başlanmış, günümüze kadar Kur'ân'ı anlama çabaları devam etmiş ve kıyamete kadar da her asrın ihtiyacına ve idrakine uygun olması gayretiyle tefsir çalışmaları devam edecektir. İlk günden kıyamete kadar her şartta devam eden ve edecek olan bu kesintisiz tefsir çalışmalarında saygın bir yer edinen Celal Yıldırım'a ait“İlmin Işığında Asrın Kur'ân Tefsiri”de isminden anlaşılacağı gibi eserin yazıldığı dönemin insanının zihin dünyasına Kur'ân'ın mesajını ulaştırmak gayretiyle kaleme alınmıştır. Müellif eserinde Kur'ân'ı, kendi dönemine kadar takip edilen ve kabul gören tefsir metodları ile incelemiştir. Eser bu yönüyle ansiklopedik tefsir yöntemleri mecmuasıdır. Eserde rivayet, dirayet metodlarının yanında tasavvufî, Fıkhî, Kelâmî tefsir metodlarından örnekler bulmak mümkündür. Bunun yanında yine eserin isminden de anlaşılacağı gibi ağırlıklı olarak bilimsel tefsir metodunun takip edildiğini görüyoruz. Kur'ân'ın bu denli zengin metod motifleriyle incelendiği eserin giriş kısmında, araştırmamızla ilgili genel bilgiler verilmekte, birinci kısımda yazar ve eseri hakkında temel mâlûmatlar aktarılmaktadır. İkinci kısımda öne çıkan metodlardan rivayet, dirayet ve dil-edebiyat açısından tefsir yöntemi analiz edilmektedir. Üçüncü kısımda ise eserin temelini oluşturan bilimsel tefsir metodu değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmaktadır.

Since the date the Qur'ân was first sent down to the prophet Muhammad, the work of tafsir has begun. The efforts to understand the Qur'ân have continued until today, and the tafsir work will continue until the end of the world, with the effort to suit the needs and understanding of every century.“The Qur'ân tafsir of the age in the light of knowledge”by Celal Yıldırım, who gained a respectable place in these uninterrupted tafsir Works that continued and will continueunder all conditionsfrom the first day to the doomsday, was written with an effort to convey the messaje of the Qur'ân to the mental world of the people of the period in which the the work was written, asit can be understood from his name. In his work, the author examined the Qur'ân with the methods of tafsir that were followed and accepted until his time. In thisrespect, the work is a collection of encyclopedic execesis methods. It is possibleto find examples of Sufism, Fikhi and Kalami interpretation methods in addition to the methods of narration and acumen in the work. In addition, as the name of the work suggests, we see that the scientific interpretation method is mainly followed. In the introduction part of the work, in which the Qur'ânis examined with such rich method motifs, general information about our research is given, and basic information about the author and his work is given. In the first part, the method of tafsiris analyzed in terms of narration, wisdom and language –literatûre among the prominent methods. In the second part, the scientific ınterpretation method, which forms the basis of the work, is avluated.
