Özet

Birçok kamu kurum ve kuruluşu hedef kitleye iletmek istediği mesaj için sosyal pazarlama kampanyalarından faydalanır. Bu kampanyalarda kullanılan araçlardan biri de kamu spotlarıdır. Kamu spotları farkındalık yaratma, bilgilendirme ve davranış değişikliği oluşturma gibi özellikleriyle önemli bir görev üstlenmektedir. Günümüzde iş sağlığı ve güvenliği alanında hazırlanan kamu spotlarına sıkça rastlamak mümkündür. Bu araştırmanın amacı; iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konulu kamu spotlarının hedef kitleye yönelik tutum ve beklentilerinin sosyo-demografik verilere göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin incelenmesidir. Yapılan bu çalışmada betimsel araştırma modelleri içinde yer alan“Tarama Tipi Araştırma Modeli”kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda araştırmanın örneklem grubu olan 100 kişiye anket uygulanmış ve demografik değişkenlere göre katılımcıların tutum ve beklenti düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki belirlenmiştir. Tutum ölçeğine verilen yanıtlarda ortalama 2,97 ve beklenti ölçeğine verilen yanıtlar ortalama 1,49 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ölçeklerin faktör yapıları incelenmiş ve yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda Tutum Ölçeği KMO=.935 olarak üç faktörlü ve Cronbach's Alpha değerinin .941 olduğu, Beklenti Ölçeği KMO=.929 olarak tek faktörlü ve Cronbach's Alpha değerinin .909 olduğu saptanmıştır. Demografik veriler içinde yalnızca eğitim düzeyi değişkeninin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konulu kamu spotlarına yönelik tutum (F=8,392;p=,001) ve beklenti (F=17,379;p=,001) düzeylerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. İş sağlığı ve güvenliği konulu kamu spotlarının hatırlanma düzeyi bilgisi de ankete eklenmiş ve genel olarak spotların hatırlanma düzeyinin yüksek olduğu fakat 'çocuk işçiliği' isimli kamu spotunun düşük düzeyde hatırlandığı görülmüştür. İlgili bakanlık, kurum ve kuruluşların kamu spotlarına yönelik düzenlemelerde bulunmaları, bunları işveren ve çalışanlar ile işbirliği içinde yürütmeleri gerekmektedir. Araştırmanın kapsamı genişletilip nörogörüntüleme yöntemi kullanılarak kamu spotlarına yönelik tepkilerin incelenmesi önerilmiştir.

EVALUATION OF THE MANNERS AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ON OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY TOWARDS THE INTENDED POPULATION Many public institutions and organizations benefit from social marketing campaigns for the message they want to convey to the target audience. One of the tools used in these campaigns is public service announcements. Public service announcements play an important role with their features such as awareness raising,informing and behavior change.In recent days,public spots prepared in the year of health and safety are frequently encountered. The purpose of this research is to measure whether the manners and expectations of the target audience of the public service ads on occupational health and safety show a difference according to demographic data. In this study,the survey type research model,which is among the descriptive research models was used. In this context,a questionnaire was applied to 100 people,who were the sample group of the research,and the relationship between the manners and expectation levels of the participants according to the demographic variables was determined. The average of the manner scale was calculated as 2.97 and average of the expectations scale the average was calculated as 1.49. Informations on the recall level of public service announcements on occupational health and safety has also been added to the survey. The recall level of public service announcements is high in general,expect fort he one named 'child labor'. The factor structures of the scales were examined and as a result of the analysis the manners scale was KMO=.935 with three factors and Cronbachs alpha value was .941.The expectations scale was found to be KMO=.929 with a single factor and the Cronbachs alpha value was .909. Among the demographic data only the education level variable differs significantly according to the manners (F=8,392;p=,001) and expectations (F=17,379;p=,001) levels towards the public service announcements. Relevant ministries, institutions and organizations are required to carry out regulatory studies for public service announcements and to carry out these on a common ground with employers and employees. It is suggested to expand the scope of the research and examine the reactions to public service ads using neuroimaging method.
