Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Geometri ve Ölçme öğrenme alanında 2012-2020 yılları arasında yayınlanmış lisansüstü tezlere genel çerçeve çizmek eksikliği hissedilen boşlukları belirlemek, araştırmacıların bu eksik kalmış alanlara yönelmesini sağlamak ve bu alanda çalışma yapacak olan araştırmacılara ışık tutmaktır. Araştırma kapsamında Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezinde 10 doktora ve 108 yüksek lisans tezi olmak üzere toplam 118 lisansüstü teze ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ortaokul (5, 6, 7, ve 8. Sınıf) öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiş lisansüstü tezler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma yöntemi olarak nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından doküman incelenmesi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak“Geometri ve Ölçme Öğrenme Alanında Yayınlanmış Lisansüstü Tezleri Sınıflandırma Formu”kullanılmıştır. Bu forma göre tezler yıllara ve tez türüne, üniversitelere, enstitülere, Geometri ve Ölçmenin alt öğrenme alanlarına, örneklem büyüklüğüne, örneklem türüne, yöntemine, desenine, veri toplama aracına, veri analiz yöntemine, ölçtüğü özelliğe ve amacına göre incelenmiştir. Oluşturulan temalar ile elde edilen verilere betimsel içerik analizi uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analiz sonuçları MS Office Excel programı kullanılarak frekans ve yüzde tabloları oluşturularak sunulmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların sonuçlarına göre; incelenen tezlerde çalışmaların büyük bir bölümü 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencileriyle yapılmış olup, Gazi Üniversitesi'nin bu öğrenme alanında en çok araştırmaya sahip üniversite olduğu, en çok çalışmanın 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında yapıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Tezlerin en çok“çokgenler”alt öğrenme alanında, karma yöntemle ve yarı deneysel desen kullanarak yapıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İncelen tezler en çok belli bir yöntemin etkinliğini ölçmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu yöntemlerle en fazla ölçülen özelliğin“Akademik Başarı Düzeyi”olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to draw a general framework for the postgraduate theses published between 2012 and 2020 in the field of Geometry and Measurement, to determine the gaps that are felt to be lacking, to direct the researchers to these deficient areas and to shed light on the researchers who will work in this field. Within the scope of the research, a total of 118 graduate theses including 10 doctoral and 108 master's theses were reached in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education. The sample of the study consists of postgraduate theses conducted with middle school (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade) students. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research approaches, was used as a research method. As a data collection tool,“Classification Form for Graduate Theses Published in Geometry and Measurement Learning Field”was used. According to this form, theses were examined according to years and thesis type, universities, institutes, sub-learning areas of Geometry and Measurement, sample size, sample type, method, pattern, data collection tool, data analysis method, feature and purpose. Descriptive content analysis was applied to the data obtained with the created themes. The analysis results of the data are presented by creating frequency and percentage tables using MS Office Excel program. According to the results of the findings obtained from the research; In the examined theses, most of the studies were conducted with 7th and 8th grade students, and it was concluded that Gazi University was the university with the most research in this field of learning, and the most studies were carried out in 2018 and 2019. and it was concluded that it was made using a quasi-experimental design. The examined theses were mostly made with the aim of measuring the effectiveness of a certain method. It has been determined that the most measured feature with these methods is“Academic Success Level”.
