Özet
“Çağdaş Fotoğraf Sanatında Anlatı Fotoğrafı”başlıklı tez çalışmasında incelenen temel unsurlar çağdaş sanat içinde fotoğrafın kendi özgün dilini yaratma sürecinde nasıl şekillendiği ve toplumsal yaşanan bir takım sanayi, endüstri, sosyal olaylarla etkin bir bağlam kurarak ifade yöntemi seçtiği araştırılmıştır. 20. ve 21. yüzyılda, etkin sanat pratiklerinin günümüze olan yansımalarında kavramsal sanat başlığıyla incelenen, gerçeklik-ten kopmadan, kurgu içerikli fotoğrafların barındırdığı anlatıyı bulmada seçilen göstergebilimsel yöntemle fotoğraf okumaları yapılmıştır. Fotoğrafın, sanat yolculuğuna başladığı dönemde teknik yetersizlikler, fotoğraf yaratım ve basım süreci uzun ve zahmetli olması gerçeğini doğurmakla birlikte baskı aşamasında maliyetli bir ortam yaratmıştır. Zamanla yaşanan kültürel, sosyolojik, politik ve sanatsal değişimler, icatlar ve buluşlar sayesinde fotoğraf mekanik bir araç olma özelliğinden de kaynaklı gelişim ve değişim süreci içine girerek o günden bu yana hala gün-demde olan gerek konu seçimleri gerek teknolojik ilerlemesi gerek diğer sanat dallarıyla olan bağında yenilikçi yapısını korumaktadır. Zamanla tekniğin gelişimiyle Sanayi Devrimi'nin ardından mekanik süreçlerini tamamlayıp, toplumun her kesimine hitap etmesi onu hem çağa ayak uydurmasına katkı sağlamış hem de toplumsal benimsenmesine yol açmıştır. Kübizm de perspektif özelliğinden, karanlık oda imkanlarında gerçeküstücülükten, fütürizm de teknik olanağı saye-sinde, pop artta kitle iletişim araçlarından biri haline gelmesiyle avangard sanat içinde parlamıştır. Ardından gelen 1960'larda kavramsal sanat, sanat disiplinleri içinde yenilik yaratarak biçimciliğe karşı çıkarak altta yatan felsefe, dil ve yaratım sürecine odaklanmıştır. Fotoğraf, kavramsal sanat dinamikleri içinde fikrin anlatılması yönteminde sahnele-me tekniğini seçerek kurgulanan konu büyük ölçüde seriler halinde izleyici ile buluşturulmuştur. Burada gerçekliğin önem kazandığı, enstantane fotoğrafına teknik olarak zıt olan kurgu fotoğrafta, esere bakılan anla anlatılmak istenen arasındaki bağlam önem kazanmıştır. Bu bağlamda tez çalışması, anlatının oluşmasında geçen süre zarfını içine alan, diğer sanat disiplinleri ile bağlantıda kalarak üretilen fotoğraflarda yer alan her bir unsurun göstergebilimsel yaklaşımla çözümlendiği fotoğraf inceleme pratiklerini içerir.
